    "Boring!"

Wanting a quick read, and after reading Amazon's positive reviews, I took a chance on a new (to me) author and narrator. The story sounded cute, and perhaps would have been more entertaining with another narrator, but I found it lacking overall.

I watched the movie "Conagher" with Sam Elliott years ago, about a lonely widow who wrote letters and tied them to tumbleweeds, and enjoyed it, but "Tumbleweed Letters: Love Letters" fell flat. The narrator's voice was flat, for the most part, although she was able to change it for different characters...she gave a good performance for the child.

The title was also misleading, the letters were not love letters.

Sorry, but I cannot recommend it.

    Story
    "Horrible!!!"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

NO ONE!!! The story was ok but the narration was soooo bad! She stinks! It was painful!

Has Tumbleweed Letters turned you off from other books in this genre?

    NO

How could the performance have been better?

If the narrator was more fluent and less choppy. Her voices for each character were ridiculous and sound read and not acted. It was just HORRIBLE

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The story intrigued me...if the narration was so horrid I may have enjoyed the story
