always a pleasure to read a jude deveraux book. she never disappoints. looking forward to the rest of the series.

Great book, once you get over the narrator

As a Jude Deveraux fan for many years, I found this book to have a classic Jude Deveraux story line . However, I found the narrator's voice annoying, over acted, and shrill at times. Once I got over the narrator (and I'm glad I did), I enjoyed the story very much. Just finished the 2nd book in this series (much better narrator), and am about to listen to the third.

I thought the narrator did not distinguish between the voices well enough. It was hard to differentiate between the characters at times. Also, she made the characters sound like the were snobby, for lack of. another word! I don't think people sound like that at all.

Good flow. Interesting and not confusing at all even with all the different characters from past lives.
I will buy next in series soon.

I found this book really interesting and well written, with a happily ever after ending!

Hard to finish

The storyline was cheesy and the narrator was whiny and did not fit the characters. I had planned to read the series, but I’ve changed my mind.

Fun book. I listened to it and was swept away from everyday reality quite nicely. I wish it wasn't over.

I enjoyed this book and can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. I will definitely be getting this one.
