I knew there was a happily ever after, but I didn't see how it was going to happen. And when I thought I had it figured out a new twist was thrown in.

I usually can guess what comes next, but I did not see that coming. Not to mention I love the robotic characteristic tone of Paul’s voice. It was sportingly sexy to me, great job on their one Pete.

Love this story
I read this story years ago and bought the audible years ago as well, but it looks like I never wrote a review here.
Love the story and Shayla and Nick are one of my fav couples, but I hated the narration. While he has a lively voice, the recitation of the book is so low and choppy. He reads it like he’s just learning to read. I just listened to the book again because I wanted to re-live the story on a long car ride, but it was painful to say the least. Id love to get more of Brenda audibles, but I can’t with this narrator. Hopefully he got better as time goes on, but I can’t take the chance. I bought 2 or 3 books and I just can’t buy anymore. I live Brenda and her books too much.

I loved every minute of the book. The twists and turns made even more interesting. When I thought I had it figured out, I was surprised. The narration of Pete Ohms made it even better. Wonderfully written and an enjoyable read.
