What the Critics Say

"Roberts paints her story with a broad brush, but its colorful canvas, easily identifiable heroes and villains and swirling action add up to another winner for this popular author." (Publishers Weekly)

    "Nice Read"

The book was entertaining. The narrator was questionable on some characters. I would not seek out a book with her as the voices.

    "Nothing special"

I found this book a little boring and never even finished it. It's not something I would recommend. Nora Roberts has written better.

    "Loved it!"
What did you love best about True Betrayals?

Interesting story, lots of pieces to the puzzle and enjoyed the baseline subject matter.

What was one of the most memorable moments of True Betrayals?

There were many and to list them would give too much away.

What about Rose Anne Shansky’s performance did you like?

Smooth reading and inflections well placed.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not really, I loved the entire book.

    Any additional comments?

Good read. Add in my love of any animal related sport and that just makes it better. Then add in murder, mystery, intrigue, romance and general family interaction and you just get a great book.
