True love is hiding where you least expect to find it. Jewelry designer Tori Henderson's first year in business was far more expensive than she could have imagined. Faced with closing the doors of Tori's Treasures, she sinks her last dollar into one final promotion - a widely publicized treasure hunt for a chest of fine, handmade jewelry that could drum up enough business to get her back in the black - or kill her shop once and for all. The last thing she needs is her mother's announcement that she's preparing to marry Edward Trainor, the father of Tori's long ago summer crush, Gabe - a man who regularly makes his way into Tori's dreams some 10 years later)
Corporate tycoon Jed Trainor has no intention of attending his estranged father's wedding, and he certainly doesn't need to see his half-brother Gabe after the other man put the moves on Jed's one-time fiancée. But with business problems looming, Jed needs time to think, and the small town of Moon Lake seems like the perfect place to hide away while he figures out how to save his empire. The last thing he needs is the distraction of a beautiful woman who thinks she's in love with his idiot half-brother. Tori is determined to win Gabe's heart, but Jed has other plans. When they learn Gabe is bringing a date to the wedding, Jed offers to bring Tori himself, knowing any woman on his arm is sure to be on Gabe's radar. But his ploy for her attention just may blow up in his face. Can Jed prove to Tori he's the Trainor brother she really belongs with?

No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
Tori is an artist who has been in business, with a traditional brick & mortar shop, for just over year. She has an optimistic attitude, but things are not going well for the shop, that means things were not going well for Tori (financially.)
When her mother pops in one day with the announcement that she is getting married, Tori's whole life is in inner turmoil. Her mother is going to marry the father of the man Tori had always love!
Before the wedding culminates, Jed (not the love of her life – but the brother of Gabe – the love of her life) comes into town. He is aware of Tori's feelings for his brother, but just had always had eyes for Tori. A feeling that she did not reciprocate because of his brother.
When Tori is drafted into becoming the wedding planner, for the upcoming ceremony, along with the stress of her shop, Tori does not know what she will do.
Jed steps in to help her out and while she feels she is somehow reneging on her mother and the promise that Tori made about planning the wedding. She is still overwhelmed and eventually accept his help.
Tori's excitement in her upcoming jewelry store promotion, a game, is the only light in what seems to be a very dark place in her life.
What will happen when Gabe finally comes to town?
This is an excellent book by Amy Gamet. There are only three books in the entire series. *Pout*
*I was given this book in exchange for my thoughts and opinions and review.
I WILL listen to these books again; with the same passion as those who love Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum books.
I also give Amy Gamet points for (in the series) each book to be standalone if you cannot get all three at once.
I do recommend listening to each of these in order, so that you can get to know and have the entire experience.
Eva Kaminsky does a spectacular job in character development, giving each character a unique voice. She does step back a little bit so that I don't feel I'm listening to somebody reading to me, I feel that I am hearing a story and putting my spin on it. It was very enjoyable to listen to.

Tori is determined to win back her teenage crush. Gabe is coming back for his father's wedding. Jeb, Gabe's step-brother, is interested in Tori. Will Tori choose old love or new love? This was a good story, and I enjoyed listening to it. I loved the treasure hunt, and who ended up with it. The narrator was easy to listen to.
I received this audio book in exchange for an honest review.
I would highly recommend this book to my friends.
My favorite scene was when the winner of the treasure was found.
I was given a copy for an honest review. The story is about a girl finding her true love.It has a lot of twists and turns and holds the readers attention. It is very easy to listen to. It has a great story line and I will look for more from this author.
Treasure on Moon Lake was a really good book to listen to. I loved the story line with all the little things that kept happening to keep me interested. This book is one of the best that I've listened to in a while. The writing was superb and the narration was great. I can't wait to read the second book in the series! I don't often give 5 stars but this one was worth it!
The way the characters seemed to connect with each other which helps bring the story to life. As a reader I wanted to know what was going to happen next so it kept my interest. Ms Kaminsky read the story so you could tell what the characters were feeling.
Yes, I love the way the characters and location work together to give readers a way to 'see' what the characters and location looks like.
Ms Gamet kept me interested because she gave us the background, history and the connections between characters. To me it makes the character more real and alive.
I like the performance, the only change I would suggest is for the narrator not to over exaggerate some of the characters feelings. Once in a great while a character she'll put to much emphasis on a particular characters feelings.
No, really enjoyed this book and look forward to more of Ms. Gamet's books.
I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
I already own the print version of this book so I was familiar with the story before listening to it. It never fails to amaze me how much more I can get out of listening to the story over reading it. The story comes to life because of the skill of the narrator. Ms. Kaminsky does an excellent job.
I remembered a pivotal point for me from the print version but when I heard the words spoken in this version, the impact was so much greater. I still cheered for the heroine but she sounded even more mature this time around because of the spoken word. I think the hero's growth in this version is so much more evident because of the inflection the narrator gives to his speeches. I liked Jed before but I like him even more now.
This is a sweet love story set in a small town. While it follows the standard boy meets girl, boy loses girl due to his own stupidity, boy gets girl back formula it has a number of twists and turns that make it unique. It also sets up the start of the second book nicely. The other two books in the Moon Lake series are just as sweet and I look forward to seeing them released on audiobooks, as well.
Top of the list
I loved how hard she worked to hide all of her treasures around town and how people had to find them by following her poems.
It was very clearly spoken and the emotions of the characters shone through.
This series has a lot of places where you will laugh or cry. It's one of the reasons I love this series.
