Olivia did the impossible...
She tamed the over-confident Casanova, Seth Marc, turning him into a one woman Romeo.
With Seth's first professional fight coming up, she does her best to keep him focused and driven...even if that means withholding sex from him.
As sexual tensions rise, so do past discrepancies the couple thought buried, putting extra stress on both their romantic and professional lives.
Stuck in the center of the action, Olivia and Seth fight for air as they collide face first with the tough world of professional MMA.

I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
Loved it... What a way to write a second book. This book picks up right after book 1, well maybe a couple of weeks after.
Sethy is a pro fighter now and O, is tagging along for the ride... Great smexing, and drama from these two just like book 1. Olivia's bfff and Seth's bff have a very interesting side-story going on... I really hope they get a book soon... I so want to know what is going on in Jackson's head.
Glad to see O's mom doing better....
I really am on pins and needles for book 3 b/c what happen at the end... OMG! That is gonna be one fight I don't want to miss...real or not... I can't wait!!!!
Not sure about this one. I like the story and the continuation of the characters from book one, but it seems a bit immature and I'm having a hard time with the narrator. I know book 3 has a new narrator, and I'll listen just to wrap the story up. Not terrible, not a favorite either.
loved it!! I just sometimes wanted Olivia to get over it. can't wait for 3
I'm one of the reviewers at the Guilty Indulgence Review Site. I am always reading - I don't go anywhere without an ebook or audiobook!
The story continues from book one with the relationship heating up a notch. With the angst that comes with young characters and the twist towards the end, the book is a good read.
The narrator has a light voice that's enjoyable, especially for these new adult genre books.
Very immature characters written with immature writing style. Heroine absolutely rolls over and takes anything people give her. I know those people exist but I'm really sure that such a strong and caring man wouldn't put up with it.
I like the storyline but could definitely be beefed up and carry a stronger writing pattern.
It was ok. Could hear her swallow, etc. I know that's human but should be out of the recording.
This book picks up where the author left off and there is no disappointment with Seth and O. This book has it all. It is intense and unpredictable. It had me from the start and I really enjoyed every moment. I love the banter between characters. Seth is passionate about his fighting and his woman. He will never let anything stop him. Olivia is good but wants a little bad in her life. She does not take his crap but yet she still remains sweet. Selena is a mouth piece that you are not sure if you want to hate or love. She is messed up but in love with Jackson. I think they should have their own story because there are a lot of innuendos about their sex lives. I am only disappointed that the third book is not ready for us yet. Now I have to wait and stew over what is to come. This book has some unpredictable parts that I really like because it is not all sunshine and flowers. To me this brings a realistic quality to story. You will not be let down with this book. 4.5 stars from me.
I am a lover of books. I enjoy losing myself in a fabulous romance and great story plot.
Let's start off with the positives…..
I really enjoyed "Consumed" and was excited to pick up on where the first book left off in Seth and Olivia's story. It started off well enough as the reader is ushered into this world of MMA fighting as Seth is preparing for his first fight in the professional league in Vegas. Olivia and Seth are fresh in their relationship and quite in love. In the last book Seth bought Olivia's deceased father's gym and hired her to manage it. This set up was quite convenient for the lovers as they got the opportunity to engage in their sexy banter, playful moments and to serve as a support group for one another. And, their sexual chemistry is really good. Both Seth and Olivia speak very fondly of one another and are always talking about how attracted they are to one another------ So where was the problem????
The problem is that something was off in the energy level of both sexual and the general scenes in this book. The sexual scenes were frustrating most of the times. First of all, the abstinence between Seth and Olivia was overdrawn and just ridiculous. How frustrating that Jackson and Selina (Seth and Olivia's beth friends) have a more interesting and plentiful sex life than the leads). So, when Seth and Olivia finally come together, it's rather anticlimactic….and who enjoys anticlimactic sex scenes????? There were a few sex scenes where both lovers enjoyed themselves equally, but otherwise the sex scenes seemed to be stilted and Seth held back….which was just weird.
Another problem is that Olivia came across as a stick in the mud. What??- She'd rather go to her room and finish her book instead of celebrate with Seth post-win, leaving him to celebrate with Jackson, Selina and his crew alone….AND in Vegas????? What the??? There were other times when Olivia just came across as childish, petulant and preferred solitude when she should have worked it out quickly with her man. On the flip side, I still really liked Seth in this book. I don't mind flaws in the leads and, believe me, both Seth and Olivia have many flaws, but overall Seth's character was a lot more likable than Olivia's. This book showcased vintage Seth; he's confident, speaks his mind, can be demanding, but he's also sweet and likes to work things out by talking things through. Even Seth's jealous, overprotective side was likable.
Also, most of the general scenes were "off," in that, Madi didn't really allow the reader to enjoy the highs in this book because each scene where there is a fabulous high seemed to be weighed down by a crappy low. I also thought the parts with Mason and Blade's interaction with Olivia was also anticlimactic.
Overall, I was disappointed with this book, but most of all I was really frustrated……like it put me in a bad mood-frustrated. I haven't given up though, I still plan to read the final installment Forever Consumed when it is released.
Narrator: Em Eldridge was excellent! She did a fabulous job with both Seth and Olivia's voices.
Lastly, I hated the use of the F-word inserted in between Jesus Christ (so unnecessary and offensive). I hope this is not a trend among authors….
