Publisher's summary

Not to be outdone by her sisters' marriage-producing scandals, quiet and withdrawn Madison Banks quickly finds herself walking down the aisle to a man who has secretly loved her for years. Her groom, however, has no idea how to show his new bride that he truly loves her and, following a bungled wedding night, finds himself in a position to either win his wife once and for all or lose her forever. Can he prove himself worthy of her? Will she accept his love? Or will jealousy and past insecurities tear the pair apart?

blahhh blahhh blahhh

This book drags on and on and on. it's probably one of the worst written books I have ever heard on this program. Thank goodness it was free, or I would be asking for my money back.

Great series and narration…

What did you dislike?
I dislike the sex scenes. They do not add anything to the story. I always skip these scenes.
Who would you recommend this book to?
I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys romance novels.
What was your favorite scene?
I enjoyed the scene when Madison realizes Ben is Leo.
Additional comments:
This is the second time I have read this series. I enjoyed it both times. The narrator is very good, she is talented, able to do different accents, male and female voices. All around enjoyable listening.

Surprised

The 1st and 2nd book were okay. This one was hard-to-hear. Both main characters were trite and not compelling. It made the main characters in book 1 as the reappeared, stupid. The narrator added to the unpleasantness. Poorly written, sad because the story line had potential.

excruciatingly horrible.

I rarely review books but I couldn't not leave a review. the writer tries to be witty so hard that it's annoying. I had to stop it the point where she was telling some story about your second toe means how smart you are. holy moly save yourself some time. pass this 1 by.

Not realistic for time period

I made it through chapter 4 when I finally decided to quit.
Premise was good and has potential, but poor narration combined with highly unrealistic language, culture and dialogue for time period just made the story seem stupid and fake. I have not read the other books on the series.

It was an OK read

Overall, I would recommend 'To Win His Wayward Wife' if you are a fan of the genre. The characters are mostly likeable. The Book started and ended ok, but the timeline was a bit hazy at points. The story faltered a bit in the middle, but not so much that you don't want to finish the book.

The narrator did a pretty good job but the voices were really distinguished.

The series

I've been very entertained with this series. This last book was so good because it was nice to have Ben turn out to be so sweet and caring. I'd love another book to follow- a series of the next generation would be great!

Awful heroine

The heroine is plain awful. She has gone through difficult times, mostly of her own making, but that is no excuse for the way she treats her husband, who did make a big blunder on his wedding night, but he does try to explain.

This goes on for most of the book, so the happily ever after is difficult to enjoy.

Please don't let my less than stellar review stop you from listening to this story. It was just not for me.
