From the number one Kindle best-selling author of A Modern Witch comes modern romance with a touch of magic.
Nell Sullivan is fiery, easily distracted by cookies, and doomed to wear the peach monstrosity at her best friend's wedding.
And she's a witch.
Daniel Walker is a former baseball player turned bored hacker looking for a challenge. Hacking Nell's online gaming world is going to get him a lot more than he bargained for.
A prophecy says they will make babies together - but when it comes to the love life of a modern witch and a hacker, prophecy might not get a vote.

yes, because this book is great....
I like how nell and Daniel got together
there is not just one scene. I can't choose. Its just a good read
Yes! And I have many times!!! I just love these stories!! I listen to all of them over and over again.
This was a great story to learn about Nell and her family. In the Modern Witch series, her family is already established. With this you really get to know "her" and Jamie and her mother.
I love them all!
I continue to be mystified by folks that say they don't like Martha Pardee's reading of this series. I could not image the folks in these stories "sounding" any other way. If readers were switched, I'd be very sad. I think Martha does a Fantastic job!
I started the book on the way to work. After about 30 minutes, I found a place to pull over and put a stop to the whole thing. I don't know if it was the reader or the whole experience, but I just had to stop it. I listen to a wide variety of books, and I enjoy romance, fantasy, mystery, thriller, science-fiction, a lot of everything. I did not like this at all. Maybe the reader didn't work for me.
I really love these books the sense of community and love that flows through this story of witchcraft is so heart warming. I would love to be part of witch central even if I was on the fringe.
I have requested the audible acquire the rest of these books. Debora Geary has a way of making you feel like family. I really hope I can read the rest here.
I was able to get the backstory. Now I can start the series again with more knowlege of the main characters.
I had tears at the life changes the characters had to go through, and smiles at the pink glitter.
I would really suggest that this book be read first. It is the prequel for the rest of the series.
Entertaining, magical, romantic. A good mix for a light hearted read/listen.
Enough strength in the characters to provide the necessary angst between the romantic leads and emotional depth.
The plot surrounding computer coding and gaming was not too convoluted or technical. The gaming and magic together was surprisingly entertaining and a good combination.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Martha Harmon Pardee was a good choice for narrator although I took a bit of time to warm to her.
It was really fun, after reading the first three books, to get a little more of the back story. I really like the dynamics of the relationships. Calling myself a witch, though a bit more literal than in these tales, it's really good to have the craft portrayed in such a positive light.
My favorite character in this book was Nell, of course. It's always nice to have a model of a character who is self aware and able to know when she's wrong - in the end, anyway.
I have not, but I love her performances in all of this series, so far.
The book made me laugh and cry, many times.
When will audible get the rest of the series on board???
Yes, I would listen to every book in this series again to pick up all the things I missed the first time around.
There really isn't anything like this series so it's hard to compare... maybe something written by Molly Harper (they are light hearted and fun)
Nell she is a major figure in all the books.
When Nell told Daniel about her mom's precog vision.
I read this book (0.5 in the series) after completing the 3 books one through three in the series... I hope Audible gets the rest of the books in this series
