"Macomber's women serve as bedrock for one another in this sometimes tearful, always uplifting tale that will make readers wish they could join this charming breakfast club." (Booklist)
I usually enjoy Debbie Macomber books, and this is no exception. As a result of reading the book, we started a Thursdays at Eight group. The book was inspiring to see how strong women and how, with a little support from those we love, we can overcome the odds. I thought the honesty and openness was refreshing. The narrator was pleasant, she has read several of my favorite books and has not disappointed yet.
