Zombies stalk the night. Forget blood and brains. These monsters hunger for human souls. Sadly, they've got mine...
Alice Bell has lost so much. Family. Friends. A home. She thought she had nothing else to give. She was wrong.
After a new zombie attack, strange things begin to happen to her. Mirrors come to life, and the whispers of the dead assault her ears. But the worst?
A terrible darkness blooms inside her, urging her to do very wicked things.
She's never needed her team of zombie slayers more, but ultra bad-boy Cole Holland, the leader and her boyfriend, suddenly withdraws from her...from everyone. Now, with her best friend Kat at her side, Ali must kill the zombies, uncover Cole's secret and learn to fight the darkness.
But the clock is ticking...and if she fails at a single task, they're all doomed.

Good story the performer has a cold and her stuffed nose bugged the crap out of me the whole time I was listening. But again it's a good story.
Amazing Narration by Natalie Gold
Through the Zombie Glass had me reeling for the very beginning. I honestly could not put it down! I was glued to my audiobook. I commend Gena Showalter for her ingenuity on the whole zombie phenomena. Alice is such an amazing female lead, she is brave, has the fighting capabilities of a superhero, is compassionate and loves wholeheartedly. Things get extremely rough for her in this book, and you would think that after brutally losing her family in the first book, things could not get much worse, but oh they sure do.
The suspense kicked up a huge notch in this book. The Ali-Cole relationship is sooo good *sighs/swoons/drools*. I love Cole! He has all the things you could expect from any Alpha Male. There was no doubt in my mind that they belong together, and there are scenes in this book that will just make your toes curl! So readers when things go downhill for Ali and Cole’s relationship, don’t give up hope! The best is yet to come I promise you!!
By the time I finished this book, I was left completely and totally satisfied with the plot and the romance! I absolutely loved this book!!! And I can’t wait to read more, I expect good things from the next book for sure!!
I just finished this book earlier this evening.
I was a little sad knowing it was coming to an end.
My biggest complaint and I really hate to say this, was the narration. Not the actual narrator but it sounds like she had a cold and her nose was blocked and this was throughout the whole book?! I found this made it difficult for me to enjoy the story as much as I could have otherwise.
Otherwise the story itself was great. I would definitely recommend it!!

Yes anyone into YA
My favorite character? Ali, Cat, Cole maybe Frosty, any/all of them, they are just so teenage it's amusing.
When Ali shoots Dr K.
No it's what I expected but good in that none of the endings I had come up with as I was reading actually were the correct one.
I wish we had a genre of YA when I was a kid. This book was fun and painful in that adolescent way of unconfident youth.
the narrator obviously had a cold/flu while recording this! it was so distracting having to listen to her stuffed up nose voice struggling through the entire book. was it really necessary to have the actress record it while she was clearly sick? it ruined the story.
Avid reader; audiobook junkie. Obsessed with Terry Pratchett's Discworld. Eclectic tastes, with a heavy does of sarcastic humor.
The premise of the story sounded good, but once I started reading it, there was really nothing about it that I liked. Many of the reviews here praise the main character (Alice), but I found her weak, predictable, and two-dimensional. The plot was built on pretty creative ideas, but the "infrastructure" of the story wasn't very strong, resulting in a story I just couldn't connect with.
Probably the worst part (since this was an audiobook) was that the narrator clearly had a bad cold throughout the entire recording, and her stuffy nose was very distracting.
This series is starting to grab my attention. Characters are developing and who doesn't enjoy a good teenage love story mixed with zombies and fierce battles. Natalie, take the session off the next time you are sick. You are too good of a narrator
Proud book worm!
Another twist for Alice! This time while fighting with the Zombie's Alice gets bit by one of her team mates as she's trying to inject him with the anti venom. Unfortunately it has some bad results. She can feel the Zombie in her rise up but...she tries to control it. It seems she has to make a deal with the devil to get another antidote from someone who is on suspicious side but the bad guys also blow him up leaving her with a few precious viles. The clock is ticking....there is a book that has secrets to tell to help her, her ghostly sister to help guide, new slayers on her team that seem to be self absorbed and vying for her boyfriend Cole and Cole acting all mysterious and stand offish. What a roller coaster ride this is!!!!
