He's gone rogue
Ex-Navy SEAL Rock Babineaux is as Cajun as they come - spicy, sexy, and more than a bit wicked. But would he actually betray his country? Even his best friends on the special-ops Black Knights team aren't sure they can trust him. Now the target of a massive manhunt, Rock knows the only way to protect the team - especially his partner, Vanessa - is to run.
She won't back down
Rock might think he can outmaneuver them all, but he hasn't counted on how stubborn Vanessa Cordero can be. And she refuses to cut him loose. Sure, her partner has his secrets, but there's no one in the world she'd rather have by her side in a tight spot. Which is good, because she and Rock are about to get very tight.

"The feisty heroine and her honorable hero will be impossible for readers to resist. Walker's best yet." (Publishers Weekly)
On a couple of ocarina A detachment of SEALs were aboard ships I served on in the Navy and afterward as a CIVMAR on Navy civilian manned ships. The last time was 9/11/2001. A rubber boat came out of Sardinia to take them off. The personalities of the Black Knights are so much like team members I knew. This book was so good.
I want more.
I struggled to get through this book. The storyline would have been okay with the exception of the very poor narration and the fact that the female lead cries through almost two-thirds of the entire book. it is very difficult to believe she works for a clandestine operation when she cries at every single thing.
I love romances! Historical, Westerns, suspense, military/security, paranormal (werewolves, psychic, angels & demons).
I really enjoyed this story. It was refreshing to meet a heroine who was strong yet couldn't control her tears. I also liked the mystery of Rock's "side job". It was very well done. My only complaint is the narrator didn't do his Cajun accent justice, lol.
