Publisher's summary

If hearts are meant to be together, nothing will keep them apart...

When Gavin Macgregor first laid eyes on Kenna Moore at a festival in their Highland home, the boy fell in love with her flaming red hair, and her easy smile. Years later, Gavin works up the courage to give Kenna a thistle, and with one innocent gesture, steals her heart. And then, in the blink of an eye, Gavin is gone, swept away with the rest of the Highlanders to fight in Bonnie Prince Charlie's war, from which he never returns.

With Gavin's thistle around her neck, Kenna finds the strength to journey south to Edinburgh, where she's promised in marriage to Laird Ramsay Macdonald. Struggling to grow accustomed to her new life, little does Kenna know that the man who stole her heart all those years ago is waiting to do it again.

My earring are hurting

I have no idea if the book is good or not but the voice of Rebecca Bedford is awful. I could not listen for 5 minutes. I am asking for my money to be returned.

REALLY DREADFUL NARRATOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have deleted this audio book after five minutes. This narrator should NEVER EVER again try to do accents that are not her own. There are no words to describe how dreadful this is. While trying to perform Scottish accents she sounds like someone in pain with a serious speech defect while lapsing back into her American twang a lot of the time. Actually there are no words to describe this desecration enough. What an insult to all Scotts. It is seriously painful. Unfortunately before buying this audio book I had mistakenly read the amazon reviews for the print or e-read version (which were the only reveiws that came up).
I am so disappointed.
I have wasted a credit and I am truely not happy.
