His destined mate...
Certainly Jones has pushed it too far this time. Gnawing and clawing at his soul are the demons he unknowingly carried back from his quest into their land. Weak and exhausted, the dark witch gazes down the dim, cobbled street at his only hope - a lone vehicle with blazing headlights. Desperate, he makes a mad dash for the light, and the striking woman illuminated in its wake.
Vika senses him before she sees him. The good witch with emerald eyes and fiery red hair has never dabbled in dark magic. But one look at CJ turns her life upside down. Soon Vika is lured into his dangerous world...and his powerful arms. A few sultry kisses are not enough to save CJ from his demons - it's going to take some seriously potent sorcery. And they're running out of time.

I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
I usually love M.H.'s books but for some reason I felt this could have been a YA book if it wasn't for the occasional sex scenes and this is book 2 or 3 of a series so, had I of heard the previous books first, then I may have given it more stars (who knows?).
CJ who's a Dark Witch returns from Daemonia with evil demons inside him torturing him when it gets dark and possesses him so he has to stay in the light all the time and all this (understandably) makes him miserable, depressed and near to going over to the dark side. Luckily, he stumbles across Vika, a Light Witch who can catch loose souls and when she passes them through CJ it exorcises one of his many demons so they go about trying to catch lost souls to expel all his demons. Unfortunately, there's a Dark Wizard after him and the Soul Reaper wants his souls back.
It is very well written, has some interesting characters, humorous quips, good chemistry between the two lovers who's relationship grew very quickly and early in the book but it was just a little too sweet for my tastes (this may have been due to the narrator's voice which seemed a little slow).
Worth a credit? It's one of those books that had me thinking "what would of made it a better listen" a different narrator?, knowing the previous history?, more passion? - who knows but for me it just lacked something and for that reason I'm going to have to say NO not worth my credit. But hey that's just me - you may love it.
