Publisher's summary

The Manor, the very place where their passionate love affair began, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives. She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse - and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally gotten beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise, leading Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is.

He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy...but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

one of the best erotic romance trilogy EVER!

First, I really think the narrator did a fantastic job with these books! This is the final installment in this series and what a crazy wild ride!! I've been looking forward to losing myself once again in Jesse & Ava’s sexy world and it absolutely did not disappoint. For me, this erotic romance trilogy stands above ALL others. This Man Confessed was everything I was hoping for!! This was a lengthy book but perfectly paced. This Man Confessed is not without the shock and awe that we also experience in the two prior books. It’s truly a wild, bumpy and emotional ride loaded with intrigue and shockers, undiluted lust and mind-bending sex plus a compulsive and intense love. Be prepared to be swept away by their story! So yes, this book is HOT! If you loved Jesse Ward in This Man or Beneath This Man, I will be astounded if you don't fall fan-crazy in love with him more in This Man Confessed. He truly is all pure, sexy, unadulterated alpha! All the Jesse secrets come out and new conflicts arise in their relationship. Rest assured, you will have a VERY difficult time putting this book down. When I was finished with this book, I felt completely satisfied. I had no unanswered questions, the epilogue was perfection. I am a little sad that Jesse and Ava’s story is over, but I was so happy with how it ended. This is one of my favorite trilogies. It’s intense, beautiful, emotional and full of drama! Obviously don't listen to this book if you haven't tackled the other two first, but if you love over the top crazy possessive alpha men with dark pasts who fall in love with a woman who tries them at every turn even though she's madly in love with him & fight multiple obstacles together, this is totally the series for you.

SIMPLY THE BEST ENDING TO AN EPIC TRILOGY

For those of you who have listened to the previous two books in the series then hold on to your seats because you're in for an intense, stunning, emotional ride (which I'm not going to give any spoilers away) and for anyone who hasn't yet listened to any of them then don't start here because you'll be missing an awesome, passionate, all consuming, romantic trilogy that'll quite simply blow you socks off.

Well they're back.... Jesse's still Lord of the Manor, he's possessive, demanding, overbearing, bossy, protective and so in love with Ava it hurts (and I love love love him) but he's also terrified he's going to lose her and that makes him so vulnerable it hurts. Ava's still on Cloud 9 Jesse but ahead is a heartbreaking decision, a dilemma to face and Jesse's skeletons just keep coming out to test their love. They're constantly adding to their sleepy sex, hard sex, morning sex, twilight sex... etc., which is, of course, delicious but they're growing as people, they're learning what the other needs and trying to give it. But...

There is sooo very many hurdles to overcome as, chapter by chapter they're slowly painfully revealed and they'll have you gasping, pulling your hair out, crying, screaming, swooning and smiling so much so that your nearest n dearest will be tempted to call for the men in white with a straight jacket just for you. There's so many plot twist, surprises, secrets, new characters, threats and suspense, danger and tension along with their passionate heart-achingly beautiful and drama filled love, that you'll feel like the ball in a pinball machine.

This well-written, well narrated listen will woo you, WOW you, frustrate you, shock you, captivate you and totally mesmerise you but it'll also sweep you off your feet with their tender, sweet, brutal, passionate, hurtful, touching but unconditional love that you're left emotionally drained, exhausted, sad it's over and so blissfully, mindblowingly contented at the outcome of their HEA. To top it all off the Epilogue is told from Jesse's POV and NEVER has there been a sweeter ending.

Worth a credit? When you invest so many listening hours to a trilogy you come to love the characters, feel for them, bleed with them and you know that they will haunt your thoughts and you know you're going to miss them so, worth a credit?, HELL YEAH a 10 Star listen.

I'm Totally On Central Jesse Cloud Nine!

Everything comes out in this final installment of Jesse's and Ava's emotional roller coaster of a love story, and it's a DOOSIE! After gorging myself on books 1 and 2, I couldn't wait until book 3 was released. This trilogy is like one of those 1000-page books you read during a vacation when nothing else demands your attention. It's truly one of my favorite love stories by far.

The third story was pretty dramatic from start to finish. It's complicated, emotional, and was sometimes a bit frustrating when what seems like a never ending chorus of dirty little skeletons in Jesse's closet come out in a thoroughly dramatic manner. With my Jesse obsession, my addiction to Edita Brychta's narration, and the need for Ava and Jesse to find happiness, this third installment was all-consuming for me! The hotness factor was definitely present, but, there was a lot of pure romance and love that permeated the third book causing me to swoon throughout. I didn't want it to end, and so I'd be happy to take a repeat trip to 'Central Jesse Cloud Nine' any time!

I highly recommend this book, but, start from the beginning, all three stories are a must, and are definitely credit worthy.

Oh the drama, but I loved it!

Much like the other 2 books, this one was all sorts of crazy! There was so much drama that it made my head spin. And Jesse "The Lord of the Manor" Ward is the craziest man ever! And of course that just added to all the drama. Although I'm glad we got answers in this book, I still didn't think it justified all of Jesse's actions. However, the story was alot of fun and I enjoyed the epilogue so much. It was very funny! This was a great ending to one hot mess of a couple.

4.5 stars for an enjoyable listen.

One of the best romance trilogies I ever read

In this third book of the "This Man" series the story of Jesse and Kate's super-hot attraction and challenging relationship continues to unfold like the layers of an onion peeling back. Yes, this book has even more revelations about Jesse's complex, difficult past, but each one is part of the reason this incredibly erotic love story can be more than lustful fairy tale. One cannot help but fall in love with both main characters. They are clearly gorgeous (the "god" and the "temptress") and interesting, yet their genuine humanity is helps us to identify with them. While their story is so full of extremes in plot twists and odd characters that it is hardly a "normal" life, on an emotional level it is strangely like our own stories of working out the difficulties in loving ourselves and each other. A wide range of supporting characters - including friends, family and surprising villains - keeps the story rich and interesting. The narrator does such a wonderful job of rendering the voices that we feel we know these people as they laugh at their own jokes, frustrate each other or cry out from emotional depths. Even if erotica is not your favorite read, stick with this one. It is tastefully and even beautifully done. More than just gratuitous and titillating, the sex is actually part of the plot. Every moment of "shock and awe," or "sleepy sex" or even frightening jealousy helps build a story about the redemptive power of love. Jesse's voice narrating us the "epilogue" of the story is touching and totally believable and adorable. Absolutely credit-worthy but be sure to read in order for maximum effect (though each could stand alone).

Spouse&another woman on wedding day, unforgivable!

How would you feel if your husband decided to leave you alone on your wedding day so he could "pacify" another woman, just for a few minutes, a woman who happens to be in love with him? Oh yeah, he knows the woman's in love with him.

I didn't get past Chapter 3. I am so pissed at how Jessie treats Ava, his new wife. No amount of sex, not even how incredible their sexual chemistry is, could justify what he had done to her on their wedding day. I didn't continue to listen to find out what Ava decided to do although I could correctly guess her decsion. I am so over these two.

This was no isolated incident. There are sooo many women in Jessie's life who wanted a piece of him, everyday! Jessie didn't turn any of them away. He even entertained some of them, behind Ava's back. Why would Ava, a loving, decent, educated and smart woman wanted to stay with a man like that is beyond me! Ava, don't you have any self-respect?

I returned books 3 and 4. Why waste my credits on these books when I know I no longer liked Ava and Jessie? I am fuming mad. I wished I didn't listen to books 1 and 2. It was a waste of my time.

I've never written a review this long until today. It warrants the attention.

Okay I love a difficult man but he is hurtful!

Would you listen to This Man Confessed again? Why?

NO. It was too hard to see her be so weak.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It seems like every time he screws her over she just comes right back. I was angry, she really needed to lay down the law with the cheating. No girl with any respect would put up with the women. I little more reaction from her would have made my bad reaction better.

Jodie Ellen Malpas.....More!!

Any additional comments?

This has been the best listen I have had sence I started with Audiable. Jodie is a brilliant writer with talent galore. I'm so thankful she didn't let anything stop her from writing. Edita Brychta is a great narrator. The voice changing, and all the expression and emotions Jodie put into her book Edita did a Excellent Job with it all.

Soul Mates!

What about Edita Brychta’s performance did you like?

Edita Brychta's performance captivated and possessed me.

Any additional comments?

I was emotionally spent. I've never cried so much and I mean crocodile tears dripping from my chin and falling to my chest. Between the tears I was grinning, laughing-out-loud and yelling questions out loud from the suspense, i.e. But what about ...? and Where is ...? My husband would look at me, shake his head, and walk away.

It's been 24 hours since I finished This Man Confessed and I'm starting to tear-up writing this review so the bottom line is This Man Trilogy is worth buying straight out which is what I did. I listened to the trilogy back-to-back, no break between the books (I would go to sleep listening wake up a few hours later and restart from where I last remembered). I did this because Edita Brychta's performance and the story captivated and possessed me.

The trilogy is a must have for your library and worth purchasing by any means you may have!

Could not get into story. I even skipped chapters and it didn't help
