Publisher's summary

Nessa Dahl lives a sensible life – until, that is, Jeremiah MacNaught comes to town and enlists her help to investigate a string of bank robberies. Only Mac realizes that beneath Nessa’s no-nonsense exterior exists an outlaw spirit, and between them burns a passion far hotter than a sultry summer night. But when she discovers that the handsome investigator is undercover, lying to her about his identity and convinced she’s involved with the crimes, he’ll learn what thigh high in trouble really means….

Not one of my favorites

Enjoyed the reader, the New Orleans backdrops was fantastic, but there were some idiotic interruptions that just did not fit in with the story or the presumed intelligence of the characters. I just had to fast forward through those parts, blech!
The Aunts, as well as the supporting cast were great, I guess the lead characters were the only ones that kept falling off balance.

Steamy....and fun

I found this book very enjoyable love the characters expectly Reece he was sexy and my favorites were the aunts my best parts was the steamy love making, there is a few characters I could choke and they made Reece kind of heartless but his past I guess tells you why, worth a credit or cost of a good movie

COMING UP ROSES!!

What did you love best about Thigh High?

The blending of humor, romance and intrigue allows the reader to go on a journey where they cannot predetermine what will happen next, but thoughout there is a smile on the readers face. There's no way to predict what the end will be, but the journey keeps the listener held to the end.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Thigh High?

When Mr. Mac and Nessa are shut in the vault and discover there is a secret way out.

Which scene was your favorite?

The Madi Gras Party at "The Doll House" is my favorite scene.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was specially moved when Jeremy discovered that in a romance, the only way to becove a real winner is to give up control.

I hated Mac

He is an abusive @$$ and made me hate this book. He made this book completely unreadable

Great writing hidden by terrible cover art

WARNING: cliche ahead! I completely judged this book by the cover. Fortunately, the writing and dialogue nuances were so perfectly written without being a gaffe, I was pleasantly surprised! I lot of that was probably helped by the narrator who had the a wonderful tempo, inflections and Cajun accent. Great story!

Smoking!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

YES!! The story hooks you from the beginning and doesn't let go. I stayed up till 5 AM listening to this story. Both protagonists were flawed with their lil idiosyncracies (sp.) however, the chemistry was off the charts.

What other book might you compare Thigh High to and why?

Virgin River. Because there wasn't any parts that dragged you are reeled in and hooked til the very end.

Which character – as performed by Natalie Ross – was your favorite?

Nessa

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried when he was shot the second time, but the Aunts kept me laughing, I couldn't wait to see what they would do next or their rationale for their antics.

Any additional comments?

This is a book that I will be listening to again and again.

Natalie Ross is a fantastic performer.

Huh?

Nice story I guess, wish it made more sense and the rushed ending was trite to say the least.

Aunties Rule

I really got a kick out of these 2 old Aunties. Would lhave liked to have seen the bank manager get more of a pay back. But still enjoyed the story.
