Beautiful Conclusion to the series

I loved the character of Kit from the first mention of him in The Husband Trap. I am glad he got a story. Well worth the listen.

Not to par with the 1st two

The hero and heroine were two of my favorite characters in the earlier books in this trilogy. I knew their story was coming and looked forward to it a lot. Unfortunately, by the end of the book I didn’t like either of them very much.
The Transformation was way under played. It should have been a slow path to discovery instead of the fast lane to perdition. It was a disappointment.

Very Clever and Amusing story!

Wallflower is sought after for her endowment....
I loved the narrator also. I believe it is more fun to listen than read this novel.

ok

Very predictable. But a good ending to this triology. I suggest u read in order, since the characters r in all of the audiobooks. This is the first for this narrator. She does a great job. Enjoy!

so disappointing

Ugh. I loved how this started, had me laughing out loud and tearing up, it was gearing up to be SO good. Book 1 in the series was okay, I couldn't get even midway through book 2 bc heroine was insultingly insipid, and when I got to this one, I thought series was finally going to take off! Then...3/4 of the way through, the "hero" turns into a complete shit heel and not only does he not redeem himself, he gets steadily worse... He never apologizes for the shitty way he treats the heroine, and is way way more interested in shtupping her than loving her.... honestly could not bring myself to finish the last chapter, the final "love scene" was beyond nauseatingly bad. Could not stop eye rolling and scoffing in disgust.... Such a shame, could have been amazing book if the hero wasn't such a shallow putz.

definitely felt trapped

Not sure why it took so long to complete this book but, unlike other quickly devoured audiobooks, I felt compelled to put it down several times over the course of a couple of months. There were many elements, familiar favorite characters from previous books in series, dependent dowdy relative transformed to sophisticated heiress, many eligible suitors, creepy villain vanquished, all of which should have provided an excellent read. However, somehow the underlying theme of selfishness kept resurfacing and ironically it seems that ultimately the relationship between Eliza and Kit was propelled more by lust and the belief they each deserved to get what they wanted, despite whom else might be hurt in the process. I liked them more at the beginning than the end, yet found some of their choices questionable and lacking sincerity/integrity. Perhaps when I am able to reread it straight through, I will appreciate the story more and feel less trapped in a peculiar fairy tale of Cinderella weds the Wolf. Narration was acceptable.

Trap series; Fabulous!

Beautifully written! The characters are blissful and intriguing. The story does seem to lag on in some areas; which, was probably caused from my own inpatients. However, I still think the series deserves a big fat five(5) stars! I enjoyed these stories that much and, I would recommend to all with great enthusiasm!

Steamy stuff

This third book in the series was quite delightful. I found all three were very different plots so I did not feel bored and as if the same story line was being used. The last two in the series did remind me of other familiar stories. Book 2- The Wife trap- like the taming of the shrew. And this last book- the wedding trap- reminded me of the movie Gigi or the main character Eliza reminding me of Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady. I found this last book the steamiest. There was so much chemistry between Kit and Eliza. Loved the series. Well done and the books were aptly titled.

Great Way to Wrap up This Trilogy

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It's a good listen for this genre. I enjoyed the writing, the performance, and most of the story. Tracy Anne Warren created great romantic tension between main characters that was fun to listen to throughout the book without it ever getting dull or overdone.

What other book might you compare The Wedding Trap to and why?

The other books in this series.

What about Bianca Amato’s performance did you like?

I really like the way she adds the proper emotion to her voice for each of the characters. I feel I know them better as a result of her portrayal of them.

Any additional comments?

I overall liked this audiobook, and I would recommend it to others, but I wasn't sold on the ending completely; some loose ends, and I had difficulty liking the way the main characters went about making decisions at the end.
