After her divorce, Charlene Dugan vowed never to get married again - a promise she has kept for twenty-five years. Until the fateful day she finds herself uttering the well-known phrase - "Let's get married!" Almost immediately, Charlene's seemingly perfect life begins unraveling at the seams. Daughter Stephanie's own relationship is about to disintegrate, and she might be just a teensy-weensy bit jealous of her mom. And Charlene seems to be spending more time with her ex-husband than with her fiancé, Dennis. What's more confusing is that Dennis doesn't seem to mind too much. In fact, he sees the wedding consultant more often than Charlene does. The wedding party is now officially out of control. They're calling for rain and the bride has cold feet. This isn't exactly what Charlene had in mind. But maybe it's not too late to finally decide on who and what she really wants.

Love to listen to all genres of audiobooks while I pursue fibre crafts - spinning, dyeing, weaving and knitting. Favourite listens are romantic comedies and historical fiction.
Therese Plummer is an excellent narrator, as always. She has a wide variety of voices, great with both male and female characters. Very straightforward and natural.
Lots of characters, and a very human set of events. Enjoyed the humourous moments, as well as those where characters came to greater self-awareness. Highly recommend this great story. I thought it was one of Robyn Carr's best.
I love the narrator and I lost sleep just to finish it my favorite part is that Denise found true love AGAIN and also that Jake got his love BACK
Audible started me reading fiction again. What a treat to have professional actors narrating a book I may not have had the time to "read".
Once again the narrator saved the book. The story itself was far fetched and the characters were not that interesting or likable. Not worth a credit in my opinion.
Books are to me what exercising is to those enthusiast. My pleasure is sitting down with a good book, its like" Calgon it takes me away"
Yes, this was a good read, light and somewhat predictable but none the less worth the purchase
