Audie Award Finalist, Romance, 2014

Nestled on the Oregon coast is a small town of rocky beaches and rugged charm. Locals love the land’s unspoiled beauty. Developers see it as a potential gold mine. When newcomer Hank Cooper learns he’s been left an old friend’s entire beachfront property, he finds himself with a community’s destiny in his hands. Cooper has never been a man to settle in one place, and Thunder Point was supposed to be just another quick stop. But Cooper finds himself getting involved with the town. And with Sarah Dupre, a woman as complicated as she is beautiful. With the whole town watching for his next move, Cooper has to choose between his old life and a place full of new possibilities. A place that just might be home.

Love it!

This is typical Robyn Carr. There is much more build on daily life and surrounding friendships than there is just on the romance. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Another small town to like

Fortunately, I enjoyed another lovely read/listen from Robyn Carr all about a small town, the characters involved in the town and a romance in the making. Just what I was looking for -- characters with depth, good values, some challenging circumstances (like life) and an ending that had me sighing. Narrator Therese Plummer did her usual fine job.

Excellent story! Super funny at times!

I started this series and was laughing frequently by the exchanges between characters!

A lot of The dialogue is witty and had me smiling and laughing at just some of the funniest replies ever!!

The characters came to life off the page ( I know this was the audible version), so life like, flaws, hurts, wishes, hardships, bullying, sadness and joy all expertly done by the author.

The characters are emotionally challenged by some type of tragedy, then only human, must accept The challenges faced to come to an amazing outcome.
The small town community came alive and you are immersed in the lives of everyone.
Narration was done well.
Really enjoyed this book!

I'm moving to Oregon

I love these books!! They have everything, romance (with some very sexy parts), humor and everyday life drama I could Identify with. I ran out of credits on the 3rd book and have to wait a month to get more. It's been a long time since I've wanted time to speed by for a book LOL. I think these books are good for young adults. some high school bulling, young love situations that are very common now days ( I say young adults because of the sexy parts ). I will be listening to all the books by this author, the narrator is fantastic, I'm so happy I found them.

Robyn Carr Writes No Bad Book

I really enjoy all her stories, especially the Sullivans Crossing series. Always easy to follow, exciting and enjoyable. Also she writes men the way all women wish and hope for. Can’t go wrong there ;)
