Audie Award Finalist, Romance, 2014
Nestled on the Oregon coast is a small town of rocky beaches and rugged charm. Locals love the land’s unspoiled beauty. Developers see it as a potential gold mine. When newcomer Hank Cooper learns he’s been left an old friend’s entire beachfront property, he finds himself with a community’s destiny in his hands. Cooper has never been a man to settle in one place, and Thunder Point was supposed to be just another quick stop. But Cooper finds himself getting involved with the town. And with Sarah Dupre, a woman as complicated as she is beautiful. With the whole town watching for his next move, Cooper has to choose between his old life and a place full of new possibilities. A place that just might be home.

This is typical Robyn Carr. There is much more build on daily life and surrounding friendships than there is just on the romance. I look forward to the rest of the series.
What I loved most about this book was that it is so real and could actually happen in an everyday situation. It was awesome!! I can't wait to dive into the rest of the series!
When Mac & Gina finally come together and the final scene with Cooper and Sarah.
They are all good!
Rayann makes me LAUGH as I can so picture her clear as day.
I got into listening to audio books while traveling and now have found them a source of comfort day & night! Robyn Carr is my Fav
I got hooked when I started with book #4 and didn't realize there was a series. As soon as I realized it, I was hooked already with the lives of those that I was hearing about in the novel. I listened to book number 1 and can not wait to listen to 2 and 3 or listen to them. I travel and I get so lost in the lives of these genuine folks that I really feel like they exist. It makes me want to travel to Oregon and visit.
I would have to say that in this story Cooper was my favorite character and then Gina, I loved how genuine they both were and how they both never swayed from who they were and how devoted they were in so many different ways!
your able to get their personality right away without having to read pages and not knowing if they are real or shady
Standup people always finish first
Robyn Carr usual simple but easy listening read.
Love her narration but she sounded just like the Virgin River characters and I had to stop and seperate them out in my mind. Still enjoy her characters.
Great introduction to a new series. Fans of Virgin River should like this. Can't wit for the next book.
I really enjoy Therese Plummer and wouldn't hesitate to buy any book narrated by her.
Good Books Don't Promote Violence
This is a good but low key drama about a small town where everyone knows each other. More than just a romance - humor and friendship along with a cute dog.
I was in the mood for easy romance without a lot of disaster or tricky twists - this series was exactly what I was looking for - a nice easy listen. Robyn Carr did a great job making her characters come alive and I enjoyed being immersed in the lives of the Thunder Point characters. I hope Robyn will add to this series as I don't believe the story ends just yet. Three cheers to Therese Plummer who did an excellent job with her narration and especially with her male voices. I vote that Therese continue to be the narrator on future Thunder Point books if the series continues. Robyn - please write more?
How Sarah and Coopers lives match up
Sarah's son. He is so strong to overcome the bullying and the relationship he has with the Deputies daughter. So young and innocent.
I tend not to search out the authors, instead I find myself searching Therese Plummer to see what she has narrated. Love her voice, and love the way she brings the different characters to life.
My heart broke for Landon when he was being bullying by Jag.
The introduction of so many different characters, I see story lines coming in all different directions. Can't wait for the next book.
