20 min & had to stop listening! Whiny Narrator!

I couldn't get into the story for suffering the sound of a haughty and whiny narrator. UUGH! Not enough variation in tone to distinguish between characters either!

Yeah, no!

Nope, nope, nope! Nope to it all. The narrator and story were horrible and that’s saying a lot coming from me.

Keeps getting better.

I gave this book five stars because it was well written and worth the time to read. The story of romance during time of impending war between the good vampires and the bad was an excellent story and the plot had twists and turns that kept me reading page after page. I could not put this down. The romance between Christopher and Alice was incredibly strong and enduring. Alice had to fight for their love when Christopher thought he had no choice but to walk away from her because of the hortatory. She proved him wrong. An excellent read. I highly recommend this book. It will not disappoint.

Cute but Cheesy

I could not listen to this narrator. Her accents were awful. The story is cute but UBER predictable and cheesy. It’s a fluff piece, but not bad for a few hours distraction.

2 of the 3 hours were okay

I almost gave up on this one a few times. After an hour or so, It finally picked up a bit and I made it through. Although there's quite a bit of cheese, I ended up enjoying the story. The narration is a little over the top, a little too dramatic for my tastes, but it doesn't detract from the story. Overall, just okay, I don't think I will pick up the next in the series. I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

Great Vampire Romance

The story is interesting and keeps you hooked all the way to the conclusion. I enjoyed the characters and unique storyline.

The narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life.

This is a sweet paranormal romance with some steamy moments between the vampire prince and Alice. I enjoyed the HEA conclusion and what a great vampire Chris is. His brother in the other hand is horrible!

This is a great start to a new vampire series! I'm glad that it did not end in a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to reading more books from this series.

Disappointing

The story was promising, but the narrator was considerably lacking. The poor performance ruined the story for me.

good story line

I liked the story line but i hated the narrator. she sounds really whiny when she talks in her female voice. I can ignore it to some extent but I won't continue with the series because of her

redhat queen

I really enjoyed this book. It was full of love and laughter. It was a different kind of story about a vampire’s love. The woman Alice was kind of funny in her actions trying to get Christopher to keep her and to love her even though he had rules not to. The narrator was very good.
