"Four plot lines are expertly interwoven to create a love story-cum-thriller in the latest work by veteran romance author Brockmann." (Publishers Weekly)
"Reader William Dufris's primary assets are his contemporary emotional range and the almost palpable color he brings to descriptive phrases. His flexible voice coaxes the listener to use more senses than just listening, a skill especially suitable for the romance genre." (AudioFile)

The story was interesting in the way that the cliff note addition could have provided. It's drawn out forever by the repetitious thought process of the characters. And the narrator, words cannot describe how horrible listening to the overly dramatic, whiny SSSLLLLOOOOWWWWW speed the narrator reads. I'm thankful, just like another reviewer mentioned that I got it for 4.95. I have paid attention to the narrator's name so I never have to listen to his performance again. I'll get the Kindle edition of a book he reads if it's one I want.
This book is poorly written...The beginning seems full of promise and then the intial action dissolves, only to hear about what occurred to the hero in sporadic half-statements later in the book. The whole premise is unbelievable and the book is not even worth to be considered as B-series Hollywood script. Extremely disappointing and a waste of my money.
