Move over Bridget Jones, here comes Mimi Finnegan! Thirty-four-year-old Mimi Finnegan is the third of four daughters and in her eyes, by far, the most unremarkable. She has no singular accomplishment that can stand up to any of her sisters. And if that isn't enough, she's the only single sibling in her family. Mimi's sisters decide that it's time she gets serious about husband hunting, so they begin a campaign to find Mr. Right for her. Considering her most recent dating encounters include a night club owner who stuffs bratwurst in his pants and a WASPy trust fund baby, living happily under his mother's thumb, Mimi is more than ready to meet the one. Enter celebrated British novelist Elliot Fielding. Sexual tension and anger heat up between the duo and it isn't until Mimi discovers that Elliot is almost engaged to another that she realizes she is head-over-heels in love with him. The journey will make you laugh, cry, and want to pull your hair out from frustration! Mimi eventually learns that she is quite remarkable in her own right and never needed to worry that she lived in her sister's shadows. The Reinvention of Mimi Finnegan is the perfect laugh-out-loud, feel-good book for any woman who has ever felt that she wasn't good enough.

Wow, this was a fun listen. It has totally changed my perspective of bunions and Edith Bunker that's for sure!
Mimi Finnegan has a family that loves her and wants her to find love. Her journey to that goal is not an easy one but it is an adventure that is full of surprises. I have to admit that I did question many of Mimi's choices and for most of the story I wasn't particularly fond of (the hero) Elliott but by the end he grew on me. It's a journey of life and love that is delivered with emotion and humor. The narration was very well done....especially Edith Bunker. Lol
(Note: For those who want to know..... This book does include sexual encounters and adult language, etc.)
I was voluntarily provided a free review copy of this audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher and would like to thank them for the opportunity.
The author and narrator were both new to me, and they are extremely talented. I do not remember laughing so much while listening to a book. The narrator added so much to the book! I loved this story and related to it on many levels. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion it.
This is a great book; this is a great book written by Whitney Dineen and narrated by BettySoo. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises.
The narrator BettySoo did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.
If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
Cute story and I would rank this book much higher had the protagonist not constantly reference, speak to, name, and talk about the bunion on their foot.
If you like over-the-top characters and laugh-out-loud chick-lit, then this is the book for you. I listened to the audiobook edition and the narrator nailed it. She was the perfect match to this story. Light and fun - a brilliant chunk of escapism.
Story all the same. Mimi Finnegan Reinvented is a drama of unending imaginations. If your idea of a romance is all around luck, beware because there's a price to be paid in tears.
Yes, and I already did. It was a great book that made me laugh out loud several times. I love books like this and recommended it to someone else before I even finished listening to it.
It reminded me of a Janet Evanovich book. The comedy is well- done and many women can relate to a lot of things in this book.
She was great! I have listened to a lot of books lately that could have been better with a different narrator. I was so happy with this one. She made this book so enjoyable with her voices and the story just flowed along perfectly with emphasis where it should be.
Yes, I would have liked to listen to it all at once but I was not able to. However, this is a book that I will listen to again.

This book was delightful! MiMi was a riot and I found myself laughing out loud. The other characters added so much to her journey as well. My only disappointment was in one of the choices she made, and I couldn't understand why, but I don't want to give too much away by expanding on that. After all, it was her choice to make and I was just along for the ride, which was, overall, very entertaining.

I love books...I love storytelling. Audiobooks allow me to enjoy a great story while still being able to do my daily routine. Thanks Audible
Full Figure Humor
I really enjoyed Ms. Dineen's humor. She created a great cast of fun characters and a great storyline to boot
Mimi, of course, but really the whole cast (Kevin, Laurant, Elliot) were a lot of fun. Ms. BettySoo brought all of the cast to life. I loved her snarky attitude as Mimi and her stuffy English attitude with Elliot. I'm looking forward to hearing more from Ms. BettySoo.
Lots of out loud giggles. Thank you.
