A recovering alcoholic, football player Liam McQueen seeks redemption on and off the field. So when the team's owner, the man who gave him a shot at a comeback, demands that Liam pretend to be engaged to his wayward daughter, it's a favor the reformed bad boy feels he can't refuse.
After violating her probation, heiress Hayden Middleton must prove to the court she's changed her wild ways. To appease the judge, the tabloid queen agrees to a fake engagement, but there's nothing fake about the heat that sizzles between her and her father's saintly star quarterback.
Mastering the sex playbook isn't a problem for this wild couple. Outside the bedroom this mismatched pair must plan a game strategy to confront their demons if their temporary arrangement has any chance of going long.

When I discovered Audible it was like discovering love :-) I love receiving codes and in return I post reviews. Wife, and mom of two,
I'll admit in all honesty that I don't care about sports of any kind so I wondered what I had gotten myself into when I requested this story. But as I soon found out I enjoyed the story very much. Liz Matis did a wonderful job with writing this story. I loved the two main characters Hayden and Liam. I loved the storyline and there were so many laugh out loud scenes throughout this story. I liked her idea of setting up two people who are damaged in ways. This is a quick, steamy story that I'm sure you'll love from start to finish, I know I did.
Christine Padovan did a great job with her telling of this story. I was able to identify each character. She made me laugh so much and I felt like I was there in the story watching it play out. I give this story and narrator a 4 🌟 rating!
I received this audio free from the author/narrator in exchange for an honest and unbiased review through Audiobook Blast.

I love this author's football romances! They're fun and sexy with characters you love to see win - on or off the field ;-)
Just wish the stories were longer, but they are still great just the same :-)
I really enjoyed this story, but the narration was godawful!!! If I were Ms. Matis, I'd be insulted! I HIGHLY recommend a do-over of the audiobook ... so, so disappointing. My advice is to just stick with reading the book for yourself ... the story itself is worth it!.
