great story the sex scenes were a surprise .

it was a great story the sex scenes very nice surprise . you can tell it was wrote by a woman and she is a very talented author . I kind of wish she went a little bit more in-depth with describing gear and rifles and weapons . I am definitely interested in more of her books .

hot sex, lousy characters

alot of flip flop behavior. 1 minute sayaing 1 thing another minute feeling upset because of soemthing or another. characters dont communicate and alot of assumptiosn and stupid decisions.

Gritty, hardcore future

After the EMP, the US is destroyed. Now FEMA has setup camps that are a step up from concentration camps. Emily, Jennifer and Clarissa meet and form a team to find freedom and love away from the centers. Survivalists rock in this dystopian world.

Gag me please

First of all the narrator is great... But this book has more sex than it needs to be. There are barely survival strategies for an EMP. I find myself skipping through these sex scenes because they are similar. spoiler alert!!!
I hate how that these women have been tortured for months and all of a sudden hopping into random guys bed the same day they meet after being "traumatized" REALLY?!?! WHAT SHELTERED HOUSEWIFE IMAGINATION IS THIS? obviously she has never experience rape know someone who has or the emotional trauma real women go through. I couldn't finish this book, gave me a major headache.

Couldn’t put it down

I knew it was post apocalypse but never expected such a different look at life at such a difficult time. Just loved it. The narrator deserved 10 stars.
