"My name is Amelia Gray. I am the Graveyard Queen, a cemetery restorer who sees ghosts. My father passed down four rules to keep me safe, and I've broken every last one. A door has opened and evil wants me back.
"In order to protect myself, I've vowed to return to those rules. But the ghost of a murdered cop needs my help to find his killer. The clues lead me to the dark side of Charleston—where witchcraft, root doctors and black magic still flourish—and back to John Devlin, a haunted police detective I should only love from afar.
"Now I'm faced with a terrible choice: follow the rules or follow my heart."

The narrator carried me through, but the last in this series seems rushed and disjointed. What about Asherfalls? She threw away characters to easily.
Amelia didnt seem herself in this book and not because she was haunted. She became too insecure and repeated things too much.
I sped through this one.
Parts of this are down right creepy but it's a good book. Parts of the ending were pretty clearly coming but parts surprised me and that is good. She cleaned up the end but still left lingering questions that would lead you to another book if she'd just write it and I would read it.
Never a quibble with Khristine Hvam's. She always does a great job.
I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again
Amelia is nearly out of her depths in the latest Graveyard Queen story. She's back home in her usual haunts with Devlin's ghosts causing havoc. I find I just don't care much what happens to her and it's kinda same sh.. different book deal until the end of the book when there is a shift in her and Devlin's relationship (hallelujah about time) but it was all too little too late.
Worth my credit? No sorry, it's just not my type of book I'm afraid.
One of the best audiobooks I have listened to. I ready like this series and liked it so much I thought I would listen to the audiobooks.
The end, left me wanting more.
I enjoyed the story as it pertains to Shani, Devlin's dead daughter.
I really enjoyed this story and I think Khristine Hvam is a great narrator. I cant wait for the next book in the series.
I'm a 30-something paranormal, mystery, and humor enthusiast. For me, the main character is the most important part of a book.
I adored the first two books. This one…. not so much. The ending was really great, but the first 7 hours couldn't hold my attention. I read two other books while I was listening to this one.
I liked the overall story, the setting is fantastic with it's gothic feel, you really get into the atmosphere. I have to say that Amelia, while mostly a pleasant and likable character, comes across as stupid. She asks obvious questions and just seems to be almost idiotic in her lack of understanding of situations.
I would say it's good for entertainment, but not really a must read.
Genuine, charming, adept
Yeah it was a decent entertainment session
Say something about yourself!
This is one of my favorite series. I've listened to this series, and then re-listened to this series and getting ready to re-listen again. Always hear something new I didn't hear the time before.
So far, I've not found any others to compare to the Graveyard series. I keep looking, but have been disappointed. Can not wait for the next in the Graveyard series.
John and Shani, very touching
Can't imagine this series without Khristine Hvam narrating. She is Amelia Gray. Love it
I'm always looking for a new series to get into and i'm glad I found this one some of the post say its scary but I would say more like creepy here and there. There is not a lot of action in this series but it still holds your attention the love story is good although I wish she would be more assertive Amelia is the prime candidate for damsel in distress of the year. That gets to be a bit much as i am used to reading stories with strong female characters that kick butt. This does not take away from the story however I hope their is a 4th book cause i'm really into this but the way it ended it can go either way the narrator is good she helps suck you into the story she did a great job. I would say give it a try I think you will like it.
Happiness is a good book!
I returned it. I day dreamed while listening. I couldn't keep up with the story, hated the narrator.
