Publisher's summary

Two worlds of wealth and passion call to Nora Sutherlin and, whichever one she chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make. Unless someone makes it for her....

Wes Railey is the object of Nora's tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can't forget. He's young. He's wonderful. He's also thoroughbred royalty and, reuniting with him in Kentucky, she's in his world now. But this infamous New York dominatrix is no simpering Southern belle, and Nora's dream of fitting into Wesley's world is perpetually at odds with the relentlessly seductive pull of Søren - her owner, her lover, the forever she cannot have. At least, not completely.

Meanwhile Nora's associate Kingsley Edge is only too happy to take her place at Søren's feet during her hiatus. Søren is the only man Kingsley has ever loved, and their dark, shared history has forged a bond that neither the years - nor Søren's love for Nora - can break. But a new threat from an old adversary is forcing Kingsley to confront the past, reminding him that he must keep his friends close, and his enemies closer.

The Prince / Kingsley or Wes you decide

This book we get a lot of backstory on Kingsley and Soren and how they meet but also on Soren and his wife. It really is interesting and it enthralled me I didn’t want to stop listening at any point.
To see the triangle and how each of these characters are intertwined with each other really puts things into perspective. At least it does for me.

Wes and Nora stuff well I don’t really know how to think about this. Yes, she has a soft spot for him but was it fair of her to do what she does knowing she is going to go back to Soren? And is it fair of Wes to expect Nora to change who she is? Shouldn’t you just love the person for who and what they are? Are they both at fault? I don’t know I can tell you the way this book ends will make you desperate for book 4. Thank goodness I will be starting that right away.

The narration for this book was ok. I liked that she sounded younger for the “growing up years with Kingsley and Soren” but I don’t know I am missing that French accent the first narrator did for Kingsley. Still good just not OMG GREAT.

While I had high hopes for Wesley's story I have to admit it was a little less than I expected. Not that it wasn't a great book but I just had very high hopes. The story line was good, the sex only mildly hot and the character chemistry was non existent in this book. To be perfectly honestly I felt like the characters were forcing themselves together in this book because it's what they thought they were supposed to do. I like them best as friends. Their banter is great. I loved the back story we finally get between King & Soren. There story is the oldest and its very powerful.

The narration.... not good at all. I honestly almost stopped listening but instead just sped it up since it was robotic. The narration choices for this series are seriously lacking in my opinion. This book series is amazing but the audiobook series is less than good so far.

Oh dear lord..........

I cannot believe that this book ended like this!!! I kept thinking that I had another part to download, but NOOOOOOOOO!!!

This book took on the darker edge as the first. The narrator was extremely good, however, I still loved the narrator of The Siren and really wish he was the one for all of them.

I really didn't expect this book to take on a "mystery" story line which was a new twist, however, I truly must have something wrong with me for I am still in love with Soren.

Think I'm Done

Buy this story only if you’re much more interested in the relationship between Soren and Kingsley than you are the one between Wesley and Nora/Eleanor. The narrator does fine with the former men’s voices, though it’s very, very difficult to tell their voices apart. This is bad b/c they talk to each other more than they engage with anybody else during the whole story. And the narrator does well with Nora’s voice, but she fails miserably with Wesley’s voice. The narrator makes Wesley sound like a pimple-face, pre-pubescent little boy. Add that to the story, the dialogue, and the result is that Wesley comes across as a pathetic, whining, clueless little boy. And Nora comes across as the worst of emotional and mental sadists targeted solely at Wesley. She is so unconvincing in her love for Wesley. Desire—yes; love—no way! While with Wesley, Nora actually talks about how she loves Soren more often than she tells Wesley that she loves him. In fact, she talks about Soren while Wesley is making love to her and readily admits to Wesley that Soren was a better lover their first time than her first time with Wesley. Then she blames Wesley for telling him. After this story and it’s lack, I don’t think I care enough what happens with or to Nora to continue the next book. I would only be interested in continuing Soren’s and Kingsley’s story.

Great story enjoyed reading it not listening to it

What disappointed you about The Prince?

The story was/is awesome. This was the first time I've ever read anything by this author but I will tell you I loved it. The story is original and passionate and funny but I hate the narrator in the audio books. Wesley is from Kentucky and they attempt a southern accent that turns around and make him sound down right stupid. I stopped listening to the book and instead opt to read the book instead for that very reason.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Prince?

Nora running after Soren asked her not to.The delivery of the baby. The beating of the baby and Nora's response

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I hate, hate, hate the accent given to Wesley. Wesley is educated and intelligent but the narrator make him sound like a poor country bumpkin. Narrator should have done her research on how educated southerns really sound before attempting to imitate.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I loved the book and would recommend it to any and everyone. It is much much better than Gabriel Inferno and I like it more than Bared To You. I would just suggest reading the book instead of listening to it.

Any additional comments?

This book is original. I find that many of the other erotica books have tried to take on a 50 Shades of Gray type of story line but not the Original Sinners Series. You have the rich, powerful, good looking and educated - yes but then you have so much more. And please note, this book is erotica but not overly so. It has a very strong story and can stand alone with out the sex. Sex is the icing the story is the cake.

A good series

All of the books in this series are enjoyable. More romance than erotica, the characters talk about sex a lot more than have it. But they are interesting and well-developed. Well worth the price or credit.

Brilliant read, terrible listen...

Would you listen to The Prince again? Why?

I would definitely read The Prince again but unless another narrator is found I wouldn't listen to it. Until Wesley's southern accent came about I was convinced my iPhone had Siri reading the book to me. Robin Rowan sounds like she has a computer generated voice and it's extremely irritating. I couldn't bring myself to finish the book. The tone is monotonous and everyone except Wesley has the same voice. She missed Kingsley's French accent and Soren's English accent. Half the time I couldn't tell who was talking to who. How on earth could Tiffany Reisz allow Robin to destroy her incredible book?!

What other book might you compare The Prince to and why?

It's difficult to compare this book to another. It seems you can either get an excellent plot or steamy sex scenes but never both. I've never seen a writer excel at both like Tiffany does. I guess you could compare her story telling skills to those of Diana Gabaldon's (although I think Diana is still superior) and the sex appeal to Sylvia Day.

What didn’t you like about Robin Rowan’s performance?

See above...I didn't like a single thing. I can't believe she's been in the business for 30 years.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I would have to say when Soren and Kingsley were cleaning the old cottage. I thought it was cute when Soren asked him to catch and release the wolf spiders instead of killing them.

Any additional comments?

Buy the hard copy of this book, don't bother with the audio format. Unless of course you like monotony, zero inflection and the bastardization of the French language.

Terrible narrator!

Stop changing up the narrators! This one was awful. Actually I take it back, I hope it’s changed again for the next book because this one was so bad. Thank goodness the story keeps you coming back or I’d not have finished this one.

The best in the series so far, hate the narrator.

This series gets better and better with each book. The relationship between Soren and Kingsley, past and present, unfolds. Their loyalty to each other runs deep, and we find out why. I could not get enough of their story and found myself thinking about it while at work for 2 days. It is erotic without it being about sex, violence without hate or harm, and love despite the odds. I was not a fan of either characters in the first two books. But now I love them.

The other story is Nora in the present, sent away by Soren to be with Wesley. The extent of Soren’s love for her knows no bounds. He is willing to let Nora explore her love for the beautiful Wesley. And Wesley has never gotten over Nora. His best friend, his love. He was devastated when Nora made him leave. Nora finally gets to know who Wesley really is.....The Prince of Kentucky. They explore their relationship.

Then these two stories come together. Someone is out to do harm to Soren, Kingsley, and Nora. A mystery that started in the past, and has reared its ugly head in the future.

While this was the best in the series so far, the narrator was the worst. Many times she sounded like an automated narrator. And the inconsistency in accents was frustrating. Soren is supposed to have an English/Danish accent. He pretty much speaks American English. Kingsley is French. Yet he speaks American English and occasionally falls into French accent or French proper. While Kingsley CAN speak English without an accent, he does so only if he has too, because it’s exhausting. However the French Kingsley speaks sounds like a mash between French and German by the narrator. I love this series, but the different narrators for each book is a sore spot for me. I tried not to let the narrator spoil it for me. Perhaps I should have just read the books.

The worst narration I’ve ever heard

I liked the book, I love the writer, but my iPhone has more emotion and sounds less robotic than this narrator.
