I love the way Johanna invites the reader to understand that being different doesn't mean one is deficient...and that regardless of the many differences a relationship encounters - if allowed - love can take precedence over all! Absolutely fabulous!!
would definitely recommend this audiobook-- the reading was great with the accent!
James Malory-- read this whole series several times. I love his character in all the books!
She got the different accents perfect!!
Other Malory series novels by the same author.
The voices the narator uses for the male characters, especially Anthony, grates on me... he sounds like a pirate. I also do not care for her 'chuckles' or laughter.
Yes. It brought everything together. It made me cry and laugh.
The excitement of the family waiting to open the present
I love Johanna Lindsey and the Malorys. I have read the whole series in hard copy and now through audible. I wanted more. She made me feel like part of the family.
I am quiet and love being comfortable. I love curling up in a corner either reading or listening to a nice romantic book.
This book was a good read. It explains to us some of the Mallory's history and their strength. I like that we got to know more about the different couples and where they are today with their families as well that Jason(head of family) is finally going to marry Molly! I am so happy!!!
I have to agree with the previous reviews of this book. The book is good, I have read it a couple of times, but the narrator is absolutely terrible. She makes Anthony sound like he is about 90 years old. She also makes Reggie sound like a man half the time. Don't waste your money on this one.
I am a big fan of Johanna Lindsey, but this book did not do "it" for me. I kept falling asleep every time I listened to it.
The story was wonderful but the narrator was terrible. The Mallorys all sounded decrepid. Also, it seemed to me that the narrator didn't realize that Reggie was female. Her voice was far more male than Derek's was. Shudder.
If you can get past all of that, the story is wonderful.
