The narrator was perfect for this novel. I could barely put in down . You have people like this today. Sick and confused
You can’t do ANYTHING similar to me, I’m to0 suspicious. Nate uhn uhn uhn seems like such a great catch. Shari the over protective big sister, how on my nerves was she. Jessica is truly a victim, but devious even still.
2 thumbs up!
It was just as good as THE PERFECT AFFAIR. It was easy to follow and flowed well. The book kept you in suspense and I have already the third book.
Yes I've become addicted to this series! Really good series. Loved the suspense, romance & the irony!!! Now on to the next book in the series. And of course I love the narration!!!
enjoyed the plot....
performance, and characters. loved the suspense.....nothing like a book with fabulous suspense. will definitely read/listen to more of her books
THe storyline and the twists and turns in it were enough to keep me listening. Jessica was a little to simple minded for my tastes, but still like able and pitiable at the same time.
The worst part of reading this book was the narrator! She made it VERY difficult to get through. Her staccato tempo in the dialogue (although the dialogue wasn't the best) was so irritating at times that I missed what was being said and had to rewind. Her inflections and emotional intonation was the same for each character, regardless of their moon or situation. For instance, Dev sounded like an island tour guide ALL THE TIME--even when she was in a romantic scenario, like at the end. Or like when the sister spoke, she always sounded like a gangsta. It was extra annoying when, after she spoke it with attitude and force, she'd say, "she said gently/compassionately/softly.
Overall, it was entertaining enough, with a few unexpected plot twists.
