The Surprise Of Her Life.
Miss Sarah Hamilton, a proper Philadelphian, finds London society altogether shocking. How can it be that she has awakened from her innocent slumber to find herself in bed next to a handsome - and exceedingly naked - man? The laughing onlookers standing in the doorway are no help whatsoever and surely this amorous lunatic cannot be a duke, as he claims.
She is compromised - though she most certainly will not marry him!
The Sweetest Moment Of His
James, the Duke of Alford, is enchanted by his unexpected bedmate - and not at all afraid of her pink-cheeked fury. True, the circumstances and place of their meeting are most unusual, but the spirited American who's pummeling him with a pillow is an incomparable beauty. If Sarah will only listen to his perfectly reasonable explanation, James is sure that he can capture her heart. . .forever.

I really enjoyed this story. Surprisingly enough I think I will ignore the other not so perfect reviews and keep going with the series. I feel that I can trust Sally Mackenzie to deliver an enjoyable story with thrillingly fun characters... I can only hope that they will have narrators as good as Abby Craden who did a great job!
This story was quite boring. So disappointing, because I wasted a credit on it. The heroine was just way to naive for me. I don't mind inexperienced but this was just to much, and the story was just to boring for my taste. The narrator made her seem too whinny and as if she was going to cry at any moment most of the time. She did do a good job on the Dukes voice so I give her extra stars for that. Sorry but not credit worthy or dollar worthy. Find something better to listen too.
