Finally character had a past

Yes, because it's got a strong female character, strong male character and they butt heads. also there is some great sex.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I would have to say Nick, he fought with himself so much and the end of the book what he did for Alexa was romantic.

She was a little dry at times, but she was still good

I listen to these books at work and I had to explain so many times why I was laughing! I almost cried a few times.

Lovely Romantic Easy Listen

Such a romantic story. I like how these two people came together with no intentions of actually being together, but the chemistry was so great that they just couldn't help it. I like how Alexa stayed true to her character from the very beginning. The characters are so real and believable. A good mix of hot sex and angst I really enjoyed the book and will continue with the series.The narrator did a great job and I will look for more books by her.

wanted to read more from this writer. Very good, i want to hear the story of the sister in law and the italian guy!

What made the experience of listening to The Marriage Bargain the most enjoyable?

I found the story most enjoyable. There was enough attention to develop the story add hints of humor and tell a love story with hot sex mixed in. The sex didn't overwhelming the story line.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Marriage Bargain?

I like the way the author communicated both main characters thoughts without it being confusing.

What does Coleen Marlo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed Coleen's narration of the story. She made the characters have life.

Any additional comments?

I like that this is the first of a series and book 1 is complete enough to stand on its own and I can wait while the author fully develops book 2 and not get annoyed, like other well known book series. I would read book 2.

Predictable....but good!

This is my first download and I got this one because of the price. It is a quick story with a pretty predictable plot, but for the price I would recommend it.

I think more than anything the narrator made the story interesting with the different character voices.

I honestly have to say not really....this story didn't keep me intrigued, but it was intresting enough to keep listening too.

Would you listen to The Marriage Bargain again? Why?

Probably not. Even enjoying the book a lot it's not the kind of story that I would like to listening again, the end is very predictable.

What did you like best about this story?

The romance between the characters, even being an arranged marriage they felt in love and they were very jealous of each other, that made the story a fun quick read with a lot of gorgeous passages.

No I haven't, but I will look for more books of this author. I just loved the way it was written, very romantic and with lots of sweet love scenes

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I don't think it would give a nice movie, it had too be more deep...profound.I"m not sure of the right word to use, perhaps the story was too light. Good just to read.

I couldn't put down the book, you just want to go on and on to see what will happen in the next chapter. A very nice book the kind of romance that I love to listen.

I like a light romance, but this was too cheesy for me. too cliche. I finished it, but was glad it was over.

Feel good story!

I love Probst’s characters. The unrealistic story lines disappear between the intriguing personalities that make you laugh, smile and cry.
