Great series

This is a great series and we'll worth the money or credits. Shelly Laurenston is a great writer. Her characters are well thought out and then well written. SL's Pride Series is well written and each book builds on each other, which I love.

The Series is filled with heroines that are bad ass but still women. For example let's take Blayne... Sweet, loving, ditzy, and wants every one to get along, but back her into a corner and the wolf/dog hybrid will cut you jugular. Pair her with a 8' Shifter League Hockey playing polar bear/ lion hybrid with massive OCD issues and the out come is epic!!!

The series is filled with great characters and each book is well written. If you want to laugh, cry, pray, yell, and be totally absorbed into a well written shifter world, then this is the series for you.

Surprisingly Enjoyable

I’m still a newbie to the shifter world and have been slowly easing my way in. IMO, this is a good starter book for those interested in breaching paranormal romance.

This is two books in one (Dez and Mace; Ronnie ad Brendon). Both stories are meant to be taken in a lighthearted way, although Dez and Mace’s story has an interesting suspense element. They were funny, but when I began the book, I felt like I was starting in the middle of something. Like this was part of a bigger series, but it is labeled as book 1.

I enjoyed both stories and the paranormal aspect. For hardcore shifter readers, this would not be a good book for you, as the paranormal portion of the stories do not make many appearances. They are talked about throughout the book, but there aren’t many shifting sections.

Love this book

This is soooo worth the credit. It’s very sexy and a great story line. No too violent and the most import to me, love wins in the end.

I love, LOVE this story and this author!

This author writes some of the BEST paranormal shifter series, I freaking love this series. The characters are hilarious, witty, relatable and sometimes so over the top you can't help but love despite it.

The story is about Dez and Mace, they grew up together and lost in contact in their teenager years. They meet years later with Mace fresh out of the SEALS and Dez is investigating his sister for a murder. It starts off with a bang! The narration is not the best but it is good enough.

Laurenston shows her talent for writing intriguing, funny, paranormal romance stories that leaves the reader wanting more. Great story and awesome narration.

Two books for one price.

Both books have lion shifters as the male lead. Mase and Desiree - Desiree is a NY cop.
Brandon and Ronnie Lee - Ronnie is a sassy TN girl.

Funny, interesting and sexy- an enjoyable listen

I have a long commute and love listening to the romance package audio books. I found this book engaging enough to continue with the series, I found my mind wandering in parts but I also laughed some which to me forgives the slower parts

Entertaining listen

Shelly Laurenston has a talent for producing interesting and likable characters. I’ll be honest in that I prefer Laurenston’s full length novels as they provide more time for story development. Even with that though Laurenston builds a cast of characters I can’t wait to see evolve.

Narration for the audio book was very good. The narrator has a talent for portraying distinct characters that you can identify.

Favorite couple so far

I really liked the interaction between everyone especially the “mane” couple. The first book was good but this one was much better. Plenty of humor that didn’t cheapen anything.

Very Enjoyable

Humorous! At times, it’s even funny. It might be worthy just to hear about a lion doing the mambo. This is two connected stories in one. And they are both enjoyable. Nothing deep about them, but they are sexy and overwhelmingly smile-worthy.
