A perfect halloween ghost story!

This is #2 of the series and I loved it. Spooky and ghostly, perfect for Halloween! Amelia can see ghosts and she restores cemeteries and now we know why. This is the story of her birth plus a little evil in the mix. Beautiful southern narration, Amelia lives in Charleston.

interesting book

it was slow at first but ended well. characters were creepily interesting and there were ghosts!

Each book is the better than the last.

Like the first book, it had a slow start but it had just enough intrigue to keep me listen. By the end of the book I couldn't wait to get the next. One of the few ghost series out there that actually has a different take rather than the obvious and predicable plots.

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoyed the emotions she portrays as she read the character's lines. She did well with both the male and female characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Not sure, but if they cast the characters correctly it would be a great movie!

This book was fantastic! It pulls together the questions of Amelia’s origin and history. Full of a creepy suspense ....

Awesome book & series

Great series. Really enjoyed this book. Author did an awesome job of portraying each character. Narrator also did amazing job. I never lost interest. Thank God for the Carolinas.

Mystery

So many things come together in this book for me. I really enjoyed listening to this one and look forward to listening to the next book!

interesting story, not much of a romance

interesting mystery as book 2 of the series, but not much of a romance. Progression in the story line and narration was great.

Creepy in a good way.

Really good second book in the Graveyard Queen series. I really like how the story unfolds for Amelia, how she discovers the towns secrets and how they effect her. At times it's a little predictable but getting there is a treat. Amelia and Thane are interesting and likeable and finding out how they've been manipulated is a very good read.

Khristine Hvam does a great narration but then I knew that from the Jane Yellowrock books she also narrates. I don't know a thing about a southern accent but I like to think that it's as Khristine represents it. In these books the accent makes the story all the creepier. I certainly hope they stick with her for the narration of the third book, The Prophet. Hopefully it will show up on audible soon.
