Unexpected

Where does The Husband List rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I actually enjoyed this book. There were many parts where I had laughed. It is not Janet's usual and I normally don't go for old times but I really like the book. Good job on the book Janet.

couldn't stop listening

it was a great story. couldn't wait to pick it back up. was always hoping for a great ending for the main character.

Ending a bit too tidy

I enjoyed the mechanations of this story, but the ending is a bit too "tidy" and almost unfinished in a way. The couple winds up together, but the antagonist just goes away, not really dealt with at all.

I liked the character of Caroline and her perspective of her life.

The scene where Caroline leaves dinner to get away from her mother and her plans for Caroline's marriage.

Before women were empowered.

I enjoy Janet's books, her character is always a different take on a similar woman in different times or settings but always fun.

Fun period comedy

Loved the characters. Hope I'm not a descendant of that Bullard guy. It's always a fun time listening to a Janet Evans icy book. Keep 'em coming!

I would listen to The Husband List again. It was funny witty and fast pace.

Lorelei King did a good job with the story though this was not her best performance it did not take away from the story.

Not many books make be laugh out loud but this one did.

there were so many moments in the book that moved me.

i thought this book was less funny than janet evanovich's other books. i have listened to most of them and sometims twice. she is one of my favorite authors.

great story and very entertaining. always enjoy the reader she keeps me interested and engaged.
