Who does not love a Highlander

Would you consider the audio edition of The Highlander's Reward to be better than the print version?

I love reading books, but sometimes it's also just great to be able to close your eyes and listen. And this is one of them.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Arbella, because she is just so naiv, but she can still fight.

What does Corrie James bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She can give the book more life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and i did that.

Magnus and Arbella is the true highlander story. The Highlander safe en young englich girl.
He is bewitched by her beauty and decides to keep her. And of course there are some obstacles they have to go through.

Sweet sexy Highlander series

I really enjoyed this book. It's pretty fast paced and short. The story is more centered in the developing romance more than historical facts or accuracy. I felt like I was listening to a Harlequin story with a Highlander twist (very sweet and sexy but a bit unrealistic). I also liked the narrator because male and female characters were easily distinguishable.

Great Highlander Story

Short and sweet story about Magnus Sutherland a highland warrior who marries a Lady Arbella English woman to save her life after he rescues her from rebels and she is separated from her father. The chemistry between the two characters develop and we have a highlander love story.
Great narration can't wait to listen to book two.

Loved the book. Love the series. Second time reading and still a great series!!! Great writer and great narration.

Very unique. Loved it very much. The details and the passion. The blossoming love and the suspense of scorned betrothed.

Great historical Romance

I am a huge Eliza Knight fan so it’s no surprise I love this book. Magnus is everything you could want,a hot Highland Warrior, honorable Laird of his Clan, gorgeous and oooh so much man! Lady Arabella is a strong English lass who can take care of herself. Magnus saves Arbella when she gets caught up in a battle between the English and the Scots at Sterling Castle. He marries her to protect her, neither expects no they would fall in love. She stands beside her man when her father and her intended travel to Dunrobin Castle to retrieve her.
I wasn’t a fan of the narrator but she does a very good job switching between characters. It took a chapter or two to adjust to the narration but the storyline and characters are worth it.
Definitely recommend

Nothing remarkable

I feel like I've listened to 200 other books with the same basic storyline. The female character is annoying and not that interesting.

Corrie is very good I also look for her as the narrator now.

first time I've listened to this author

a wonderful story especially for those who don't like stories with untold amounts of sex, no there is sex within the story,. First books that I have read of this author and found it and enjoyable listen.

Always a good read

Eliza knight always writes a good book. I think some of the lines have been recycled from other books but I listen a lot to the books.
