great story

Easy to listen to and follow along in your head. loved the story and plot lines. Although I did slightly get annoyed with the main character, Nina, a few times because she argued with Max about EVERYTHING, but it was in a funny way, made me feel invested in these characters well being. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the Colorado Mountain series.

This was so far my favorite of her books. I have listened to many of her books. I especially like this particular narrator as well

Best Book I Have Listened To

This is the first book I have listened to from Kristen Ashley. I loved this book for a variety of reasons. Most of all it was easy to listen to while driving, and not too detail that you had to feel like starting the chapter over because you missed something. There was a lot of detail but I like that. There were a lot of twists that held my interest, from the love story to the mystery drama. I drive a lot going back and forth to work and it made my drive much more pleasurable and quick! I also like Emma Taylor's narration, better than a lot of other audible books I have listened to. Overall loved this book and will now listen to all of Kristen Ashley's books.

How does she DO that??

I guess you could say I am a reluctant fan of Kristen Ashley. I begin to read/listen & it only seems to take a paragraph or 2 & I'm sucked in. The male characters don't really appeal much as the seem too testosterone laden & macho to the brink of bullying asshole. But I tend to LOVE the female characters; the way they talk, interact & think. All the side stories are fun & it's all woven together into a very rich, 3D & intricate world of wonderful depth & nuance. Aanndd the sex & romance I'd hot & steamy.
I also do not have enough good words in my possession to adequately describe & praise Ms Taylor & her narration skills. This one especially with Nina's great accent & speech patterns. Well done, team!!

Great binge read!

I love this book! it had many storylines so it wasn't your typical romance. and that made me want to binge listen until it was completed.

Emma Taylor is an AMAZING narrator!

Emma Taylor, the narrator of this audiobook is amazing! Her voices are different for each character & she has a perfect accent for each.

This story brings our couple together & then we get to walk thru the story as their relationship develops. I enjoy books more when I don’t have to wait until the very end for the couple to get together. I fell for Nina & Max right away. Kristen Ashley does a great job developing the characters and you feel like you know them as individuals and their little likes & dislikes.

I’m a book series person. I like hearing about the other characters living around town. This book is a great start for this series. I like we get to see the characters from past books continue to live their lives & continue to be a part of the next books. I’m looking forward to seeing Nina practice law in this town.

Enjoyed but...

I love long books so the 25 hours was fine. The very controlling leading man spoke with lots of unnecessary swearing. Sex scenes were too graphic for my taste. Still I did enjoy it

Excellent!!!

This was on par with Kristen Ashley excellence! The book was brilliant and the narrator is just as good, especially since there were a variety of accents to tackle... Which worried me!

Go buy! Listen and fall in love with Nina and Max!
