    "Doesn't disappoint!"

Those who enjoy Beverly Lewis's books will be happy with this one. It's a great story about Amish and non-Amish and how they relate and clash. I recommend it highly.

    "The Fiddler"

Overall the story was fairly good. However, predictable. Parts of the story were very touching. Somewhat disappointed in the narration. I do enjoy Christina Moore. However, I never understand when you have two narrators - a male and female - why the male can't do the male parts and vice-a-versa. Other than that it was a nice listen.

    "Loved the story!!"
Would you listen to The Fiddler again? Why?

I would because it was so enjoyable and I liked the insights of Amish culture and seeing the struggles of Michael's decision on whether to join the church and the unknowing suspense of how the book might end.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Fiddler?

The talk under the tree and how he admired her fiddling.

What does Christina Moore and Andy Paris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved hearing the deeper voice for the male voices but I had hoped for a bit of variety because sometimes if I missed who was talking I wasn't sure which man was talking a d would get confused but I really enjoyed all of their expressional reading

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

At the end I had an overly joyous feeling when she realized it was Michael only dressed as an englischer

    Any additional comments?

Loved hearing about the Amish experience as it was a bit of a getaway and soul searching time and how they were able to help and advise

    "asdf"

Living your life according to your own expectation not others is at the core of theplot in this book. Most of the books I've listened to with Amish settings have had more crisis in them so this wasn't the most exciting of them. But, it was a fairly short, interesting tale that makes you feel good.

"Another awesome story by one of my fave authors."
Where does The Fiddler rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love this book. I own so many that I can't truly rank it because it melts into the pan with so many awesome books.

What did you like best about this story?

    the plot

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.

    Any additional comments?

If you're a fan of Beverly Lewis, you can add this one to the list. I enjoyed how she is able to write this stoary as if it is based on someone's true biography. I love the way she combines such differing cultures; and yet she focuses on the importance of the positives and doesn't neglect the negatives of two completely different lifestyles.
