Heartbreakingly Perfect

Wow. I loved all of this. I had a few giggles and a few tears. Nothing happened fast, the love fell into itself the way it's supposed to. I was given forewarning of something, but it was kept at bay until the time it needed to be revealed. I could have never guessed it. This book is a perfect romance.

Omg!!! Where to begin?? This book totally consumed me. I didnt expect it to be this good!! I finished this book in like less than a day, if only I needed to use the bathroom or work or eat, I think I would finish it in 1 seating!

It is so rare for a book to drag out this kind of emotion from me these days, I've been reading so many books that it started to get predictable, but this book! Omg! I cried And weeped like a little girl! Seriously my husband walked into the room in shock seeing my mascara smeared face, i weeped and told him it was the book, he laughed but scooped me in his arms saying sweet nothing into my ears.. (I love him to death for that) About fifteen minutes later he walked in to check on me again, and I was laughing... It's that crazy good! Seriously, It's sooo good!

It was so different from the moment it started, it kept me on edge, kept me guessing, i squirmed and laughed and cringed and cried both happy and sad tears! it was soooooooooo sweet! I'm sure sth in me melts into a pile of goo when I finished!

I loveeee the characters development and the journey them both embarked on... The writer did a splendid job at revealing climaxes! They were very sneaky! Splendid! And the narration!!! Ughhh The story literally came to life! Not a thing about this listen I would complain if u ask me, besides the fact that it ended!!!

I wish Andrew was real! He was funny, sure of himself, wise, smart, musical and he has a heart of an angel!! And Camryn, the heroine, she's so strong and witty... She's very lovable! I love them both to bits!! Omg how I mourn that book is finished!?

If you liked The Note Book, or The Last Song or sth in that department, this book is totally for you!!!

Book for young teens

I'm 26 and could barely get through the book. Don't get me wrong, it's an okay love story per say, but it's essentially every 16 year old girl's daydream. I gave it three stars because I'm sure if I were a teenager again, I would have given it 5. The lines sometimes were so cheesy in dramatic scenes I practically cringed. If your looking for a young, doe eyed romance- here you go.

Yes, b/c it was brilliantly written. I love the banter b/t Cam and Andrew.

Easy by Tammara Webber. The heroine struggles to find herself.

This is the first time I listen to this author. WOW, what's an incredible and original book. I love how Cam and Andrew met and fell in love. I thought the concept of the story was original and the journey they took was interesting. I wish I can be that carefree and did what they did. This book was well written with so much mix emotions. I laughed, cried, and exhilarated while reading this book. This book is well worth a credit I spent.

Read 6 yrs ago, still a romance favorite

Not only is this a gorgeous cover, but a good story too. I read this 6 yrs ago and loved it. And now with Audible Escapes, I decided on a listen this time. I still love this story, and I have grown very tired of many of the mundane romance stories out there these days. So it says a lot that I still adore it. I liked the narrator too, she did a good job.

This one surprised me.

I am a 50 something listener and halfway through the first chapter was sure I'd made a poor selection. The life of twenty somethings for whom money is never a consideration couldn't be more foreign. But, I stuck it out and was glad. This story turned out to be about universal and ageless themes.Yes, it's told from a different perspective than mine and yes..there were a few scenes where our couple displayed really silly behavior that was inconsiderate of those around them. (note to twenty somethings...lewd conversations held publicly to shock "old people" are not witty, not charming, not amusing. Okay, a personal peeve of mine). Despite these distractions, I recommend this story to any adult listener. As another listener commented, this could be a good young adult read if one edited the sex scenes. (There aren't that many).

The narrator is a little slower than I normally like, but eventually I grew more comfortable and found her voice and cadence relaxing and almost meditative.

In summary, this book was written, I think, for a young audience, so a more mature reader may be irritated by some parts of the story, but the writer is quite good, so it makes it worth a few aggravating moments to experience the story. Oh yeah, I cried..no I sobbed...and I am NOT a crier. Really, this writer is good.

A good love story

Sometimes these reviews are hard to write because you don’t want to give away any spoilers. Ugh! If you’re a fan of love stories then you’ll like this one. If you believe in fate then you’ll like this one.

Camryn is unsatisfied with her life. She thought she lost the love of her life in a car accident when she was in high school. After she has a falling out with her best friend she just decided to get on a bus and just go. She has no destination in mind. She just wants to see the world.

Andrew’s father is dying. Instead of flying he takes the bus instead. He does not want to see his father die. There’s allot of things Andrew does not want to face. He never expected to find the love of his life on a bus. So just when you think they have found happiness a terrible secret comes to light and you wonder if there’s going to be a happy ever after or not.

So is this worth a credit? Yes! For those of you with concerns with sexual content, I would say it’s mild and not very much content in the story.

One of the Best Romances Ever

It's in my top 5 all-time favorites. I listened to twice in a row.

What did you like best about this story?

The chemistry, between the two characters is electric. The dialogue is fantastic. You can visualize these two incredible people falling in love.

What about Lauren Fortgang’s performance did you like?

Great voice characterization. She performs Andrew's voice flawlessly.

Camryn took a road trip to find herself but what she found was her soul mate.

This book grabbed me from the first few words. I was sad when it ended, and that's why I listened to it all over again.

Fell in love with Andrew and Cam!

I loved this story although the author really, really, really drew out the love scenes. You pretty much guess why from the onset (although it is not confirmed until near the end). They talked about almost having sex for 80% of the book so when they finally get together you know something bad is about to happen to change it. When Cam gets the news you really hurt for her since she has had such crappy luck with guys in her short life. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster and the characters will stick in your mind for days. I can't wait until this author's next book. Well done!!

Amazing Story!

I loved this story! It is a wonderful make you feel like and want things you have thought about but like the book stuck in the same day to day routine. I don’t normally listen to books like this but I couldn’t stop listening once I started. I would recommend this book to everyone. I loved the feeling of the book! Have Kleenex handy. The narrator was wonderful. She made the characters of this book come to life for me! Love the music references throughout this whole book!!! I can’t wait for the second book to this series to come out in November.
