Publisher's summary

Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett thought she knew exactly where her life was going. But after a wild night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she shocks everyone - including herself - when she decides to leave the only life she's ever known and set out on her own. Grabbing her purse and her cell phone, Camryn boards a Greyhound bus ready to find herself. Instead, she finds Andrew Parrish.

Sexy and exciting, Andrew lives life like there is no tomorrow. He persuades Camryn to do things she never thought she would and shows her how to give in to her deepest, most forbidden desires. Soon he becomes the center of her daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But there is more to Andrew than Camryn realizes. Will his secret push them inseparably together - or destroy them forever?

Beautiful Moments meets Romance Novel

I really enjoyed The Edge of Never for it's small and subtle moments. I would rate the book over all as a 3, it is a good love story with interesting characters and prospectives. But what kept me from loving the book was that as interesting as the characters were the story of those characters could have been so much better. And the potential of the book is what and the fact that it didn't quite hit that mark is the only reason it is not rated higher.

However there are these beautiful moments of human incite in the book that really were powerful. Moments between Cameron and Andrew that were really perfect and gave the depth of writer's style that J.A. Redmerski has. I hope that she writes more because I would love to see what more she could do with that really soulful style of writing.

Absolutely Love!

If you could sum up The Edge of Never in three words, what would they be?

Fell in love with Camryn and Andrew, wish this was series. I've listened to it twice already

Perfect Modern Romance

The narrator was amazing with voices!

The story itself, well I've listened to it five times. Crazy I know, but it's like putting your favorite cd on replay. you cry uncontrolably, fall in love recklessly, and wish to do it every time. On top of that the steam that comes from this is hefty and real. No one can hate it. My new Notebook replacement.

Just kinda men until the second half

Ok, so this book felt like two completely different stories smashed together into one really long drawn out tale. It was sooo slow at the beginning, and honestly I almost gave up. There are just too many books, to force myself to continue to read one that doesn't grab my attention. The story was attempting to throw in suspense at the bus station and with Natalie's boyfriend and drama with Andrew's dad. And all it did was make me wonder where this book was going. But then at the half way mark it was like a new book, it was more interesting once they headed south and visited one city in particular. You could feel what they were feeling towards each other. Camryn & Andrew were perfect together, once they actually stopped driving and just lived. I was honestly super sad right along with Cam when she found out what Andrew was hiding. But, the ending almost felt rushed because suddenly it was over. I know there is a sequel, but I don't know if I will read it. I listened to the audio version, narrated by Lauren Fortgang, and she did a pretty good job with both the female and male parts

Sex, Sex, Sex

Were I forty years younger, I am sure that I would have enjoyed this book more than I did. The plot was interesting, the characters well drawn through a bit annoying, and enough intrigue to hold my interest.
My opinion is that this would be a good book for someone seeking to become aroused.

Reminds me of "The Notebook"

I found this story to be a charming classic love story. The emotion and passion reminds me of Nicholas Sparks book The Notebook. The two main characters go through a journey of discovery together. Sometimes everyone needs to break away from the ordinary to discover the extraordinary. The love scenes are detailed but their are not many. Some one else claimed that this story is similar to "50 Shades of Gray" and "The Crossfire Series" but I disagree. The story is not as sexual or filled with angst but instead classic passionate love story. The narrator did a wonderful job and I was very happy with this book!

Mindblowing, spontaneous, and a tearjerker!

Loved the way the story keeps you guessing on what they will do next but also able to scense the love too. This storyline had me in tears and was very moving but the quick wit humor and the sexual flirtations also will make you laugh out loud literally. I recommend this to anyone the author did a amazing job portraying it all.

Really enjoyed this one ...

Where does The Edge of Never rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 10ish for sure (although I've listened to and enjoyed dozen of audio books). I re-listen to it once or twice a year.

Any additional comments?

I've now read (and listened) this book multiple times and recommended it to many others who also loved it. It's a perfect contemporary romance revolving around a young couple who are lost and dealing with their own struggles and it has just the right amount of steamy parts :p
