Don't miss the other books in the Lords of the Underworld series.

I'm completely hooked on this series after this book! The Darkest Night was great and this was a great follow up - I love how Showalter intertwines one book to the next. My only semi-negative comment would be that as much as I like Max Bellmore's voice for each of these books, I wish Anya's voice wasn't quite so whiny. Then again, that does fit with some of her personality so it's not anything I felt took away from the book.
Save your credit. Chapter one was average and I'm not quite sure what happens after that. A lot of wasted "me tarzan - you jane" conversation between Anya and Lucien that desperately tries to be hot and steamy but lays a big egg. I was hopeful for Paris' character but that too drifts off into la-la land. Poorly developed characters and plots. Was looking forward to reading this author but won't be reading anything further.
I really liked Anya and Lucien's story. He is such a tortured soul, but Anya just makes him sizzle. She is such a riot. You can't help but like her. She is full of fun and mischief. If you like LOTU, this is a must have.
I thought this was a good book and well worth the credit.
This book is wonderful. I truly felt for both Lucien and Anya, for what they have to go through - Lucian and the other demon possessed warriors are on the hunt for Pandora's box if others find it they are doomed. Now Cronos, leader of the Titans, has ordered Lucian to take Anya's soul and Lucian must fight the attraction that burns between him and the goddess.
I loved this book, book 1 was a good read but it was hard to belive that they fell in love within two days, with this book it spands over 3 weeks making it more believable and is just so darn good, action, adventure, love, romantance, great characters, what more could you ask for !! VERY enjoyable listen!
This whole series is worth listening to. The narration is great and the individual characters very appealing. Not your sterotype "Demon" book.
I have a very fast paced life. Audio books are an awesome alternative for me. Long road trips, working out and housework arn't a bore.
My review of book one was only three stars. I wish I could have a redo on that.
After book two I am hooked. I even love the reader! Very well written and fun. Thanks Gena, you are a great author.
