I loved listening to the book. It kept me riveted and in suspense of what was going to happen next in the story. I didn't want to stop listening it to it. I couldn't wait to get back it. I felt very sad for Paris when that girl died. I felt a wide range of emotions that author managed write about or had her characters display. The various different stories about each of the characters was very intriguing. I can't wait to finish your other stories in this series.
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
This is a great series for a paranormal fan. I have these in actual book form and now I'm getting them in audio form. It's a nice change to listen to them. I enjoyed re-visiting Anya and Luciens story. This is a good story but I do believe the latter books in this series are better. It's important to get them in order to be able to have the full story of all the Lords. This is a series you can't go wrong with in investing in. A big plus on the price if you already have them on your Kindle.
The narrator is WAY too soft spoken and his overly soft voice does not correlate well with the story. I needed to go out and get the book as I was nauseated listening to a terrible voice.
In the same genre as Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark, only those books have an outstanding narrator.
Someone with a DEEPER and MANLIER voice. He is way way way way way too soft spoken! It is seriously annoying.
Disappointment at the narrator. The actual book I read on my own... all kinds of emotions as great story.
The audiobooks, ALL OF THEM, are ruined for me when this narrator is reading them. I had to go out and get the hard copies to enjoy.

I feel like my tolerance for cheesy romance in urban paranormal fiction is pretty high, but this was way too much for me. I felt like the same scenes were just being repeated over and over and the book was just way too long.
Dark,thrilling and enchanting
The girl giving up her life for his.
No but he does a great job keeps you hooked.
Love it have went on to the next one in series.
Yes, ana voice and the way she talked reminded me of a valley girl
Idk, go watch the damn movie you will love it
Keep reading the series is sure to get better
I listened to Book one and really enjoyed it. The reading is a bit slow, but the voice is great. So I purchased the next 3 books. This is book 2 and from the beginning I have been so bored, that I listen to a couple of chapters and skip a couple of chapters. I have even fallen asleep, woke up and I could still follow the story. I hope the next 2 books are not like this. I have 5 chapters left and can’t wait to finish this book. I have listened to hundreds of Audio books, but I honestly have to say this has been the most boring book I have listened to.
Believer in what you can't see
A true leader
That Lucien truly loves his partners and friends. He will do about anything to help them. I think Anya is a wonderful character and I like it when she gives up everything to save Lucien even though she is the goddess of anarchy.
Lucien is one of my favorite in this series and Bellmore bring both his strength and his compassion through his tone. Lucien doesn't have to shout to be heard, but he always get to the point.
Not extreme, but I can't wait until Cronus gets his.
