Captivating

I have read a number of Nora's books but this is probably one of the best. Very hard to put it down. The action is top level.

I liked the interweaving mystery, romance , and the world of art. I personally would like to read another book featuring these characters.

Interesting from start to finish

I think The Collector is one of Nora Roberts best written book. It’s a mystery and love story with a bit of history and look into the arts. It reminded me of the old “Rear Window” movie plot from years and years ago. Lyla’s character is written well. I had read the book when it was first released...thought I’d try the audible and I was not let down.

What a ride. This is my second . Ride and it was as great as the first time. Nora is a wonderful story teller.

INTRIGUE, ROMANCE, GREAT CHARACTERS, etc.-AWESOME!

WOW! I have been SO involved in listening to doomsday, end-of-days books by GREAT authors like Bobby Akart, Mark Goodwin, Jack Hunt, etc., I decided w/COVID-19 (& all the nastiness going on behind the scenes, riots, lying propoganda machines that don't explain the truth of the ongoing Marxist movement trying to destroy our country disguised as racial tensions, etc.) that I needed to switch my listening venue back to some less "true-to-today's life books" by old authors I listened to when I was younger, like Danielle Steele, Lavyrle Spencer, & Nora Roberts, etc. What A GREAT BOOK THIS WAS! I had to MAKE myself STOP listening JUST to get work done! Warning to Christians, there is some cussing & some very "expressive" sex scenes in this book. Just an fyi. Some can choose to skip thru those areas, some can handle them w/o any problems, & others don't want them at all. It's a personal decision you'll have to make. I enjoyed it ALL!! Riveting book! Loved storyline, the narration, the oh so interesting characters, all the twists & turns, even the one's you could predict were still fantastic! This is most definitely a WOMAN'S book!!

I enjoyed it

I'm not much of a critic. I was entertained, it didn't bore me, and it didn't irritate me. it's Nora Roberts. I can't think of anything she's done that I don't enjoy.

I'm a fan of Julia Whelan now.

Loved the story Ms. Roberts wrote. She never disappoints. Always just enough romance with the mystery/thriller...never too graphic with her descriptions. Julia Whelan's performance was enthralling. I'm new to audible books, but this book and performance have me excited for the next one.

drug on a lil but had a nice ending. make a good lifetime / hallmark channel movie. but now I want 2 look up what those eggs really look like. ..lol
