Absolutely Entertaining and Funny

I absolutely agree with all of the reviews, the combination of Molly Harper's witty writing and Amanda Ronconi's narration is perfect. I find Molly's characters charming. I know I comment on this a lot however, I find women characters in many of the audio books I've listened to are obnoxiously sarcastic. When I hear some of these characters, in other audio books to be mean-spirited and sarcastic. Then I think, what man could possibly find this appearling in a woman? This is not so with Molly Harper's leading ladies: they are funny, smart, intelligent and witty. And the vampire males are....HUNKY. If you love a good vampire story, want to laugh and be entertainment, download this audio book.

Splendid

Would you consider the audio edition of The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires to be better than the print version?

This is a book well worth reading but most enjoyable listening to. Amanda does justice to the characters and the plot. The novel is a worthy new chapter in the "Nice Girl" universe with delightfully funny and charming characters, (the requisite surly vampires hero) and a riveting plot. Molly Harper's vampire novels are the only ones that do not want me to stake and bake the vampires.

Snarky

Loved it. The writing and story was great with awesome one liners with just enough snark to have me chuckling through the whole book. The narrator was perfect for this book and the whole package was quite enjoyable. If you like a bit of mystery and romance with your paranormal you will like this book. Happy listening.

Great to listen to

This is a nicely written book, its light for the most part. Engaging story that kept me interested, and had some parts that made me laugh. I haven't had a book that made me laugh in a few parts in a Long time. Definitely a keeper, it is light on sex compared to many others in this genre, so if that's a concern. its tastefully done not just put in willy nilly so to speak. I will check out more form this author

This book was good, funny and interesting, but the best part was Amanda Ronconi's reading of the story. Excellently done!

Great Story

Would you consider the audio edition of The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires to be better than the print version?

The narrators voice was perfect for the character. Lots of inflection made the story fun.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires?

The main characters first meeting was great. Her love affair with candy makes her very human.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

There are somethings even chocolate can't fix.

Any additional comments?

This was the first of molly's books I read. It made me laugh so hard in some places and caught my breath in others. WARNING the main character's love of candy will make you hungry. Have snacks standing by.

Accents

The book is set in KY why are there no accents for main characters? Otherwise enjoyable read.

This was a fun, witty and lighthearted romance. I really enjoyed her writing and the narrator was fantastic! I can't believe it took me this long to discover this author.
