From New York Times & USA Today best-selling Author Lorhainne Eckhart comes The Bloodline, a big family romance series that will rock your world.

Andy Friessen has two guarantees in his life:

1. His wife Laura, and his children are safe from the control of his family.

2. A safety deposit box holds evidence that could blow his mother's world apart.

But nothing is ever simple or easy, until one night tragedy strikes, yanking the rug from under him. This time, secrets and lies could destroy the solid foundation he's built for his family.

What did you like best about this story?

I have listened and enjoyed this series and 'The Bloodline' didn't disappoint.
After leaving his twisted family behind and starting a new life with the family , Andy is called home where he still finds himself trying to protect Laura from his controlling mother.
To be continued to the next book. Great narration.

    Any additional comments?

I read the reunion which is book one in the series a week or two ago and when I started this book was a little lost. so I went back and looked at my review for book one which stated this was a spin-off series where the author was trying to build on her past series instead of starting new. so throughout these books you're constantly being referenced to the other series for events that have happened. which is fine except for I wish things weren't titled books 1 through whatever to me they should the numbers after the other books in the other series. however about halfway through you're able to understand where the story is going in the past doesn't matter as much so you're able to still build the storyline in your head. I have to say if it wasn't for the narrator I probably would not have stuck with this book. the narrator is so animated and really brings the story to life which it desperately needed. the book has a great plot line once you're able to get on it it's worth it. I do wish to find out more about these characters just wish I had known this wasn't a stand-alone series.
