Love listening to audiobooks, and being swept away by a great story and narrator. It's my therapy, and I need it daily!
For a short story, there is a lot packed in, action, suspense as well as some steamy scenes. Meredith is attracted to her smart, sexy, rich, motorcycle riding boss, Gabriel. While Meredith was out running errands, she was involved in a car accident, and the driver of the other vehicles was gravely injured. At the scene of the accident, the other driver gives Meredith a package and ask her to deliver it to the owner, and this is where the suspense and mystery begins. Not knowing who to turn to, Meredith calls he boss, who rides in like a white knight on a bike. Things really get heated, when they find themselves not only in danger, but between the sheets as well!
This is the first story I've listened to narrated by Leigh Kelly and though she did a good job.
Overall, this quick listen was decent, entertaining and fast paced, and could easily be listened to in one sitting. Due to the length of the story, I rate it with a 3.5 stars.
The story takes off when Meredith the female lead, is involved in and accident and is
given a package from a dying man.
Meredith has a strong personality and is a bit different from her boss , Gabriel's usual
It was entertaining to watch their relationship grow.
Overall, this book was a Good Read.
Leigh Kelly did well with the narration.

What a fun, short mystery ride! The story begins with an accident that brings Denise and Gabe together as necessary partners in a dangerous and exciting escapade.
Denise is a refreshingly self-confident female lead. (Nothing pains me more than a heroine who constantly demeans herself because she isn't perfect.) Gabe, her billionaire boss, seems like a typical, haughty jerk at the beginning of the book but as he grows on you ;)
Narration: Leigh Kelly's voice is sultry, feminine and pleasantly British - it was music to my unrefined American ears ;)
Heat level: 3/5

This isn't really much of a romance. There is sex but it was more of an affirmation of life after a harrowing situation. The story lacks the sexual tension and conflict between the main characters as they struggle towards each other. Also, I am not convinced that the billionaire status of one of the main characters was really value add to the story.
That said, for a short story it is pretty action packed and fast pace. I almost wish it were a little longer so that the relationship between the two protagonists, as well as the repercussions of their choices, had a chance to be explored.

Denise Bently is returning from an errand for her billionaire boss, Gabriel Miles, when she is involved in a car accident. The vehicle that hits her is driven by a young man who is severely injured and, with his dying wish, asks Denise to deliver a manila envelope to his boss for him. With that one request, big, beautiful Denise’s life is forever changed.
This is a fast-paced, romantic/erotic, suspense story. The characters are well-rounded and fun. I feel like I could’ve used a little more back story regarding the main characters but it did not distract from the story.
The narration of this book could’ve been stronger. The narrator’s cadence and inflection remained constant throughout the story, never giving you a true sense of the characters emotions.
If you’re looking for a quick (a bit over 2 hours) listen and enjoy romantic suspense, this story will definitely fit the bill.

I am addicted to audiobooks. It makes my 1 hour (each way) commute go by without me becoming an agressive driver. lol
I received this audiobook free for an honest review. To start, I thought this audiobook had a very strange ending. I would have liked to know where her relationship with her boss went. It seemed to come out of the clear blue to start with. It was cute, but very typical. Maybe because it was so short it lacked substance. Glad I didn't pay for it. It is not that I would recommend it to someone, but I just thought it was okay. The narrator, with her British accent, was enjoyable. She did a great job of distinguishing between the male and female voices.
Good story, I listened to it from beginning to end without stopping. The sex scenes were good and not graphic.
The narration was clear and easy to listen to, Leigh Kelly has a pleasant voice

Love books. Can get lost in them and spend hours there.
I wished this story was longer and I would have preferred a different narrator but overall it's good.
