Publisher's summary

Lucas Anderson isn't used to anyone telling him what to do. He's the eldest child of the infamous Joseph Anderson and was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. When Dad decides it's time for him to get married, he'll do anything to not make it happen . . . that is until he meets Amy Harper and nearly burns down the building with the sparks that fly.

This is the first book in the New York Times best selling series by Melody Anne that took the world by storm and the beginning of the world-famous Anderson saga. Lucas Anderson is the CEO of the multi-billion dollar Anderson Corporation which employees thousands of people. Amy Harper is his new assistant. Lucas doesn't have an easy time handing over his trust and he can't believe this woman doesn't want anything from him. There's one thing he wants from her, but that leaves them both with something he can never turn his back on.

Take the journey with Lucas and Amy as they navigate whole new worlds for both of them and learn how to trust in this epic beginning to a family everyone wants to be a part of. This story starts with Patriarch Joseph Anderson deciding it's time for his children to be married and give him grandchildren . . . and that's exactly what he'll get.

"As the first book in the series, Melody Anne makes a great first impression with Wins the Game leaving readers craving for more. I am already recommending to friends, peers, and acquaintances. Wins the Game has received two thumbs up from me for sure. As a pondering point, I think it would make an interesting story line for a movie as well. Sometimes it's a good wow and others it's a wow

Call me crazy but why do girls always jump to needing to here those three words? Can't they just feel it. And men is it that hard to say them? I think relationships should be give and take from both parties and be up front and honest with each other. if you can't do that then why did you get them together. Overall the story was great though and I enjoyed it.

If you are really bored...

What did you like best about The Billionaire Wins the Game? What did you like least?

Started out good. No relationship build up or connection between the main characters. Everyone else has a relationship with Amy but her man? I wish they would talk to each other, date, become friends. You know, like regular people.

Would you be willing to try another book from Melody Anne? Why or why not?

No. Not enough meat on the story line for me.

What three words best describe Lilly Swan’s performance?

She did change voices, but most time it was monotone or robotic.

Was The Billionaire Wins the Game worth the listening time?

Yes. It was so-so. I girl can dream right? But at times it was just too green, cliche, and unbelievable.

Lucas & Amy

Melody Anne's series of Joseph Anderson's family is remarkable and is well written with storylines of drama, passion & love. Joseph is matching his son's with women he selects for their brides, but the son's have no clue. Great listen.

A super sweet and heart wrenching romance

This is my first book by Melody Anne, thou it’s not exactly what I usually listen to, I had to give it a 5. It’s super sweet and heart wrenching. The characters are amazing, I can’t wait to hear about the other brothers and the scheming wonderful father.

Cute story

Could be better edited, many inaccuracies with in the story. Narrators voice was a little annoying to me. But overall a good story.

LOVE THIS

Would you consider the audio edition of The Billionaire Wins the Game to be better than the print version?

Okay, so I have read this book multiple times. I have now listened to AND read the book more. The reader does a great job with the story and I don't lose what I felt was the imagination I had from just reading.

What other book might you compare The Billionaire Wins the Game to and why?

Maid for Love by Ruth Cardello is similar --- sweet contemporary and billionaires.....with great writing to suck you in and lose yourself.

What about Lilly Swan’s performance did you like?

The reading flowed very well - was the right speed with great fluctuations in the voice to follow the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed. I cried. And I was scared for parts of it....but not in a petrified scared, more just nervous about what the characters were doing....

Disappointment at the halfway point

Started out strong but lost it midway when the pregnancy was discovered. Missing large chunk of the plot when initial pregnancy was ignored in the story.
