Very funny! I was laughing out loud at times!

Faith is very witty with a dry sense of humor!

What does Amy Rubinate bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amy did a nice job. It felt like she was Faith.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Very much so.

Not my favorite

I discovered Kristan Higgins’ books and Xe Sands as a narrator. And I didn’t care so much for this one. She sounds flat and at times like she is just reading, not acting the parts.
I don’t understand why changing the formulas when they work.

Easy to listen to while you work.
I loved all of the main characters, Especially Levi!

Lazy day read

The book was simple and didn't require a lot of focus to follow. A good book for a lazy day to just drift off and enjoy. Simple plot and predictable. Nice read.

Would you listen to The Best Man again? Why?

I could listen to this book OVER AND OVER!! I reviewed the book and it was probably the best I have read in 2013 (I believe it was 2013),and the audio just brought the story to life.

What other book might you compare The Best Man to and why?

If you LOVED THE BEST MAN, you must read everything else by Kristan Higgins. She is a must read always!

What does Amy Rubinate bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Faith was hysterical in the book, but to hear it being read aloud, was just LAUGH OUT LOUD!! And Levi... fell even deeper in love!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I am always moved by a K. Higgs romance, I laugh, I cry and I LOVE! One of the best moments, when he comes to explain about the accident...OMG! Levi is good people!

Must Read....or listen...be prepared to LAUGH!

Too many pages of sex descriptions

Story line was interesting but it was buried in constant sex. Not explicit, but way more descriptive than needed. Since this was audio, I was able to fast forward through those sections. Very distracting. Certainly not one of the better books I have read and doesn't feel the need to read any other of this author's books.

Coming Home

Faith Holland is coming home. This book is excellent. The audio version is excellent. I loved the Jeremy, Faith and Levi storyline. I have listened to the audio version twice. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Good story

Good story with a good twist. I would read more from this author. Very easy to follow. A must read for all romantic lovers

It is pretty good!

This is much better than I expected. Complicated in a web of families and relationships with a very important mystery. It is sad that the second and third book are no longer included in Escape.
Best doesn't mean perfect and it really is OK and good because nobody is perfect in this world.

Lovely story with humor

I haven't read much of Kristan Higgins, but after The Best Man I am a fan. I absolutely loved the quirkiness of the Holland family members. A fun romance that I fell in love with.
