What if they tried to make you their slave? What if they tried to make you their plaything? What if they tried to make you their mistress?
These are the questions that April Masterson must deal with as she navigates her way through the intriguing world of The Arrangement. April is a girl who thinks she has everything: a nice home, beautiful daughters, a caring husband. When her husband makes partner at the prestigious firm he works for, things only look brighter. The firm provides them with an elegant new home, new cars, even servants. What could be better?
But all is not as it seems. Pretty quickly, April finds herself in situations she never could have imagined. Not only is she expected to play the role of the beautiful lawyer's wife, but she has to entertain the wildest fantasies of all four of the firm's senior partners. The stakes are high and she has no idea if she can do what these wealthy, powerful men expect of her.
In this world everything comes at a price. While the firm may have decorated her house, given her a pool, a chauffeur and a maid, there are expectations of payment. April is expected to pay in the only way these men feel a beautiful, young wife can pay.
She finds that she is fighting to protect her dignity and sense of self-worth as the partners begin to humiliate her and use her in ways she never could have imagined.
Will she be able to protect her identity from this onslaught? Will she be able to find her inner-strength and give her two daughters the childhood she never had?
And most importantly of all, will she be able to find true love in a world where love is treated like a toy, and women are seen as little more than expensive playthings?

Yes I have read Abby Weeks and like her books
Not really, from the reviews and the start of the book I do not know if it is what I am going to like. I have not read the first 5 either
NA not the problem
have not read enough to answer this one.
It sounds like there is moral concerns here and I am not really wanting to read about this. where in a way it is a forced situation. But like I said before. Idid not read the first 5 books and that may make a differance.
Very good story, sexy too , keeps your interest, very well written and performed
Of what I was able to listen to, I felt that Ms. Varness is a good narrator. I would love to find more stories read by her. She gave each character their own voice and made it easy to know who was speaking at what times. She was NOT the reason I didn't finish this book.
While I do enjoy a wide variety of genres I had a difficult time with this book due to the subject matter. In fact I didn't even finish the story which is something that I haven't done before with a book that I am writing an review for.
Wow this was some book. It's about a couple Walter and April, anyways Walter joins a Law Firm, and the firm has him move his family into this expensive house and soon April has to say good bye to her children as they send them off to a boarding school. April and the other wives are sex slaves for the men of the firm and the main wife of the firm. Walter acts worse and worse and starts hitting April. She wants to get away and get her children back. I won't tell you whether she does or not. But this book was dark, different, and not something anyone would want to deal with. It was scary, I can't imagine someone having complete control over every decision I made. The firm had complete control. No one deserves to have that, they deserve love and a good normal life. Sure the house and shopping would be nice if it could be your own choice, but when someone else is doing that for you. It's heartbreaking. Great book.
My interest is broad so I read thrillers, erotica, biography, true crime ,detective and travel stories among others.
The Arrangement is stimulating ,erotic and sexy
The scene I find most memorable is when April plays "guess what?" sex game where
she is blindfolded and has to guess which one of a group of men has just kissed her..
The story is narrated by Bailey Varness in a remarkably seductive voice which allows
me to just lie back and enjoy the story in contrast to just reading it which is more
The most moving moment for me is April's sense of helplessness in a situation where she is compelled to have balance her marriage with fun with other other men for erotic gratification. This illustrates the fact that it is possible to enjoy sex with
a total stranger and be in a relationship with someone else.
My favourite character is April's because of her ability to balance
her role as a mother with two daughters and a slut at the same time.
