This book is about That Girl…The girl who leaves behind her past, including her name; runs away from home and vows to never let another identity claim her again. Broken dreams, an abusive stepdad and ugly memories from her childhood are the only shattered remnants that have the ability to haunt her. With no money, an endless blank slate laying ahead of her and no hopes for the future, she sets out to survive at minimum wage jobs, moving from town to town, changing her name with each move and never allowing glimpses of her past to threaten her empty future. Average in every way, from her looks to her personality and even her style, there is not much to remember about her. When she abandons one town for another, she leaves behind of her fake identity in search of the next one, while leaving people asking themselves, "I wonder what ever became of that girl." That was her reality until Lincoln Wilks. The number one defensive football player in Fort Collins who finally names That Girl.

While I did love this book I feel it ended quite abruptly. I feel it could've had one more chapter before the epilogue at least to touch more on the loss of the baby but overall the book was great and I'm happy with the ending.
Love a good NA/YA and romance.. Run Books,Chocolate and Lipgloss book blog!!
HJ Bellus has strong female characters which I love in every book she writes. The narrator was fabulous and kept my attention right away. This story was a unique way of being told, and can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.
Em Eldridge has a great voice. She is a joy to listen to!
The most memorable moment was the very end of the book - Linley's and Lincoln's wedding day.
Yes, I have listened to her book's before. As I said earlier, she has a great voice. She never fails to make listening enjoyable.
I rarely write reviews on books, but this book was so good that I wanted to share my review with others. If you are anything like me, I highly depend on honest reviews on whether or not to purchase a book. This can make or break my decision. I loved the story line about the run-away girl and how loving and caring Lincoln Wilks is to her. It was such a great story I stayed up all night last night to listen to the whole book, I could NOT put it down. I wish this was the beginning of a series because I would definitely buy the next book in line.
There is only one small thing about this book is that I felt was missing and it was the prologue. The prologue was way too short. I wanted to hear more about their lives and how the two go on to live a happy, fulfilling life and have children together. And possibly how Lincoln goes on to make an awesome career in the NFL. Just my own wishful thinking. I would like to recommend a little more steaming sex between the two when they finally have sex for the first time. Especially since it took them so long to break that barrier and move to the next stage in their relationship. Plus, I would have loved to hear about how his mother has to suffer the consequences of her hatred towards the girl. But those are just minor compared to how good this book was. I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone.
