She-wolf Janna Macks knows trouble when she sees it, especially when it comes in the form of an irresistibly broody cowboy like Cole Harper. Her fledgling pack is already in the cross hairs of a ruthless group of rogues, and falling head over heels in lust with a human will only endanger her loved ones more. The problem is, her wolf knows her destined mate when she sees him - and Cole is it.
Rodeo pro Cole Harper has never felt this off-kilter before. One minute, he's lusting after Janna, the spunky waitress he can't get off his mind, and the next, he's growling at a dark inner voice demanding all kinds of crazy things - like howling at the moon and claiming Janna as his own. There's only one thing stronger than the overwhelming need for Janna, and that's the fear that without her, he'll succumb to the strange inner beast wrestling for control of his haunted soul.
Behind the doors of the Blue Moon Saloon, alpha shifters confront their darkest fears and their deepest desires. This book is a complete standalone story that ends with a strong hook to the main character in the next book of the series.
A paranormal romance with adult content. The perfect listen for fans of strong heroines, alpha heroes, werewolves and shapeshifters, red-hot cowboys, romantic westerns, paranormal suspense, action-adventure romance, and fantasy romance!

This novel is a perfect mix of sweet and hot romance. After meeting these characters in previous Blue Moon Saloon installments, I couldn't help but cheer for Janna to find love and contentment. (But while having read the previous stories enhanced my experience of this novel, I think it could still be enjoyed as a stand-alone book.) Without giving away any spoilers, rest assured that outside forces conspire once again to provide tension and action for the plot. This novel also features a sense of the forbidden that adds a delicious sexual energy to the main characters' romance. As always with Anna Lowe's books, plan to set aside some time, because once you get going, you'll get hooked and you won't want to stop! Listening to this book on audiobook format evoked a whole different experience of this novel for me. The slow pacing and sultry timbre of the narrator's voice makes the steamy scenes burn even brighter, and her varied inflections perfectly evoke different auras for the different types of shifters in the novel (bears v. wolves). While I highly recommend the audiobook performance of the novel, fans of shifter romance will enjoy Temptation.
Totally. It's a great story and my favorite of the series so far. I loved the interaction between the main characters and their wolves. Plus, there was lots of humor.
I am totally in love with Cole. He was so sweet and lovable. I loved how he dealt with the changes that were happening to him.
I also loved the wolves voices inside Janna and Cole's heads.
Hmmm, it's hard to say that without spoiling the story. I loved the scene with the Cole, Janna, and the bull.
Totally...and I did just that last night.
I have to say the narrator, Kelsey Osborne, impressed me much more with this book. The male voices were much better this time.

As my first audiobook, I had no idea what to expect. I will be honest in saying, I thought that the voices of the guys would be narrated by a guy. At first it was very strange to listen to a female 'trying' to sound like a guy. Once I was past that, the rest was smooth sailing. The story was enjoyable and the characters were fun to get to know. Each kind of quirky in their own way. It's great for fans of shifter romances!
Love is blossoming but when it is with a human...Janna Macks is a wolf shifter who finds herself falling for sexy cowboy Cole Harper. But what happens when the unexpected occurs, Jenna wolf is crying out that Cole is her mate.
I voluntarily reviewed Temptation as a gifted copy from the author.
Loved this audio! The stories are excellent and the characters are relatable and you really want to know what happens next. Steamy in some parts, sweet in others. Plenty of action and a good dose of sass and humor. If you love shifter romances don't miss this one!
I loved this second installment of the Blue Moon Saloon series.
Cole is a human cowboy that was scratched by a wolf during a bar fight. He does not understand why there seems to be a voice inside his head that is urging him to claim Janna as his "mate". Janna is a waitress at the local bar and is a wolf shifter. She has always liked Cole, but lately her wolf keeps calling him her mate. That seems strange since she didn't feel the whole "fated mate" vibe when she first started seeing him. What changed?
This is a little different spin from a lot of wolf-human stories where the woman is usually the human half of the story. We learn a little about Cole's past and what brought him to live in seclusion and work a menial job at a stable. The purist wolves will also make another appearance and bring the whole Cole/Janna thing to a climax. Can't wait for Soren's story. Hope I already own it.
Janna was the happy go lucky sister. Or at least that's the way she wanted everyone to think. I loved how she tried to protect everyone and not worry anyone. It was easy to tell that Janna was still learning what it was to depend on others and find strength in that support. When she probably should have asked for help she waited afraid of the consequences. Cole was lucky that she was strong spirited as he was going nuts. You couldn't help but to love and feel for Cole. He had all of these issues that he wanted to drown in whiskey but then there was Janna and new issues. You've got to get to the bull scene as it just pulls all of the strings for Janna & Cole. It was amazing. While there is more trouble brewing, Janna & Cole work on finding each other and their future.
Kelsey Osborn narrates in a fashion where I can imagine myself curled up next to the fire with hot chocolate listening to her weaving the tale on a snowy day. Every character and narration feels like it has life and animation, as if you are there. A well chosen narrator for this series.
While this was the second in the series, it is stand alone and you wouldn't feel that you had gaps from not listening to the first one. However, once you do finish Temptation Reckless Desires, you'll want to listen to the first, and the next as well.
An enjoyable experience.
This is only my second audible book but will not be my last. I enjoyed the flexibility of being able to listen whilst doing other things.
The narration is good but I struggle having one voice doing many characters.
Good continuation of this series.
I have fallen in love with this series and was so looking forward to this book. Do yourself a favour and read the other books first, you will get a better feeling for this story.
I loved the background we are given on Cole, oh my, what a man. Loved him but felt for him with his guilt over the young rodeo cowboy who died. He is a wonderful person and did well with what happened to him.
I was really enjoying Janna and Coles story until Janna became some stupid idiot who did not tell Cole what was happening to him. I so wanted to slap her upside the head.
Poor poor Cole, he thinks he is going mad, hearing a voice and feeling things he did not know if they were real or imagined. Janna would have saved him lots of grief if she had explained what was happening to him. He also would have known how to fight the Purity idiots when they had Janna.
There are 2 other people this has happened too but does she ask for advice, NO, she just waffles along risking Coles life. Janna knows how close to the change he must be but she agrees to meet Cole to go dancing, at a rough, rowdy bar. Of course, Janna gets taken by the PURITY blue bloods who have been sending threatening letters which she has told no one about.
Really, a smart savvy woman suddenly does stupid things. Just because she is a wolf she is not invincible. I get annoyed when this happens. TSTL.
All in all this was a good gripping story but would have been better if Janna had stayed the same smart woman we met in book 1.
I loved the ending with the reveal of Sarah, Soren’s lost mate. Wow, that looks like it is going to be a doozy.
This is my honest review of this book.
I love to read about Shapeshifters of all kinds but am partial to Bears and Wolves. I love series that connect .
Jenna is a hard working wolf and Cole is a broken human rodio bull fighter. The attraction is so strong, you can feel it. The problems they have would be hard enough but the reenter the purebloods. This story keeps you on the edge of your seat, The narrator does an excellent job. looking forward to Redemption on audio.
Another great series by Ms. Lowe. Love spunky Janna and sexy Cole. Great characters, great story, great romance. What more could you ask for.
The narrator does a good job of bring voice to the characters.
