Ever curious, Elizabeth, Viscountess Rocksley, has turned her curiosity to erotic pleasure. Three years a widow, she boldly employs the madame of a brothel for guidance. But never had she expected her education to be conducted by a coldly handsome peer of the realm.
To the Earl of Malvern, the erotic tutelage of a skittish widow is little more than sport. However, the woman he teaches is far from the mouse he expects. With her sly humor and insistent joy, Elizabeth obliterates all his expectations. And he, unwillingly fascinated, can't prevent his fall.
Each more intrigued than they are willing to admit, Elizabeth and Malvern embark upon a tutelage that will challenge them, change them, come to mean everything to them...until a heartbreaking betrayal threatens to tear them apart forever.

For what this is it IS very good! Erotica but not vulgarity. ... Romance but not syrupy sweetness. Tortured souls but not unreasonably so. Well defined characters with striking personalities. A unusual sort of story written with delightful flair.
NARRATOR : Very enjoyable! I only heard the story and the individuals in it and never the narrator. No better compliment can be offered to the performance. I remember the narration seemed slow in the beginning but before I got to up the speed I had gotten quite used to it. The speed was appropriate too.
HEAT FACTOR; A full rolling boil!
YES! I already did! I loved this book from the beginning to the end!
I haven't read one yet that I can compare...
She is wonderful!!! I love the way she makes the male voice so sexy!
YES...when they get so wrapped up in their sex, they let loose & are comsummed with each other, it was just breathtaking!
This is my favorite book & have read many in the last year...if you have no problem with hot steamy sex scenes, you won't be able to put this book down this book. I listened through this 10 hours, non stop, I was so wrapped up in it! WOW, JUST WOW!
Loved it!!, great storyline, lustful but real, great narrator, excellent in details, romantic without the normal predictive flow and ending. Highly recommended book. This one I will keep. Thank you.
I love losing myself in books of any kind
This book is a very interesting take on historical erotica without being raunchy. The vulnerability in each of the character gives you a really empathy for each of their story and background.
Love audio books! Hate cruddy narration.
Slow start, but really about the emotional growth and repair of the male character. Healed by a woman's love, etc. It's a very different read. In the end, it was good but I nearly returned in about one third of the way through. Narration is fine, relatively steamy.
"Great entertainment with a few twists and turns"
50 Shades meets better literary accolade (for the genre of book). A great listen, challenging victorian facade whilst offering some good old rumpy-pumpy- without the horrendous language all the way through! like!
